“弋弋，起床！”天天早上，不是父母的叫声，就是闹钟的铃声。看看闹钟，才六点十五呢！起来要干什么？不说你也知道，又是去读英语呀！就这样，我可是天天做英语，记英语，听英语，背英语，这还只是一个小时之中的作业呢。完成了，父母来检查，对了，接着做，错了呢？又是罗里八唆一大段。日复一日，年复一年，你说，不烦才怪呢。哎，英语！

还有那英语单词，也真是的，天天记。什么英语单词，都是要记的，记会了再记，记完了再买，买来了再记。新的会了，旧的又忘了，反正，记的英语单词是永无止境的。那天，我在找垃圾箱，爸爸见了，便问我：“垃圾箱的英文怎么写？”哎，真恨那个发明了英文的人。

现在不仅高职有电脑室，不少学生都有笔记本电脑。这样，英语教学与写作的整个过程，从阅读、研究、范文讨论、交流修改等，都可以在电脑和网上进行。下面分别从写前准备、写作中和写后修改三个阶段讨论如何利用网络环境促进高职英语写作的教和学。

写前准备阶段

讨论、打腹稿和列举等往往基于个人已有知识和经历，而学生的知识经历难免十分有限；通过阅读浩瀚如海的各类书报杂志来收集信息费时耗力，学生常常苦于难以在短时间内找到针对性较强的相关资料；可以说材料的匮乏成为制约学生写作的瓶颈。基于Internet的网络环境，可为学生写作提供异常丰富的、图文并茂的英语写作教学/学习素材、一定数量的文献资料、网络上其他写作资源的链接等信息资源。利用网络资源辅助英语读写教学可以培养并提高学生通过网络搜寻、获取和传递信息及资料的能力。学生可以通过上网使用搜索引擎就能在很快查找相关的文字资料或图片资料，甚至还有声音和动画，这些资源易于加工与利用，具有信息量大、针对性强、灵活性大、反馈性强等特点而所需时间仅以分秒计；这些都是传统资料搜集方式所不能比拟的。通过对资源的选择，占有了大量的写作素材，这样，英语写作不再成为苦恼之事。在同学分组讨论的过程中，个别同学会因为胆小、内向等性格原因或是因为不擅于口头言辞，成为小组讨论的听众而不是积极的参与者，但这并不代表他们没有自己的看法和观点；另外，由于时间的限制，教师不可能与每个小组有深度探讨。网上班级聊天室和论坛的创建可以有效解决这些问题，消除了直接提问引起的紧张心理，极大地活跃学生思维。教师和学生定期相聚聊天室，讨论写作任务，共同构思、挖掘内容。学生也可以通过电子邮件与教师就个别问题进行探讨。同时，学生可以把写作中的疑难问题贴在写作论坛上，老师和其他学生可发表意见。写前阶段的准备还包括范文的学习。课堂中教师对范文的讲解是以大多数学生的理解接受能力为基础进行的，不会照顾到学生的个体差异。如果利用网上英语写作实验室的多媒体软件学习范文就可以照顾到学生的个体差异。多媒体软件不仅存贮量大，可分门别类地收录大量范文，而且可直接向学习者生动地呈现内容，还可按学习者的需要提供必须的背景材料、相关的基础知识、语法、语义，等等，让学习者可以根据自己的需要提取学习内容。通过充分利用网络资源所搜索到的相关信息，学生进行构思，确定自己的写作主题并列出写作提纲，为进入具体英语写作做好了准备。

写作阶段

写作阶段是写作过程的中心阶段，在此阶段，学生对腹稿进行取舍并落笔成文进行初稿写作。学生将构思结果草拟成文后输入计算机，也可以在计算机上直接写作。有的学生在英语写作时比较注意单词拼写和语法，这可能会阻碍他们思维的流畅，不利于文章的篇章组织和整体结构。而计算机的单词拼写和语法检查功能让学生不再担心单词拼写和基本的语法，他们的思绪不再受阻，可以做到一气呵成。利用计算机文字处理程序进行英语写作训练，文字处理程序的辅助功能在客观上减少了写作过程中的重复劳动，使学生能够把写作中的精力大多集中在创造性的劳动上，增强了学生对英语写作的兴趣。许多高职学生都习惯把平常学到或看到的好的词汇、谚语、名言或句型结构等摘抄在笔记本上，并运用到写作中。比如根据所学范文内容考虑自己要用的句型和词汇,帮助完成写作。但如果摘抄内容不全面，或者摘抄缺乏分类，或者摘抄丢失等都会使得学生不能够快速找到所需要的词汇句型；或者写作中遇到表达不来或不确定某个词语的用法问题，又因为嫌麻烦不想通过查语法书或词典解决时；为避免出错学生通常会采取回避的态度，转而使用简单的字词语句来代替，结果是牺牲文章的生动性、牺牲学以致用的实践活动，毕竟只有通过使用才能真正掌握语言。有了计算机网络的辅助情况就会大不相同：学生在写作中如果有想要使用如比喻、拟人、反问、引用谚语或名人名言等一些修辞手段，使文章生动有趣却又不是很确定的情况，就可以立即在网上搜索相关知识。通过关键词和主题检索,迅速找到自己需要的词汇、句型和表达方式,还能欣赏或阅读到名人名著中相关内容的精彩片段,获取并使用符合英语表达习惯的语言形式，从而有利于学生语言的灵活运用及英语素质的整体提高。另外，在写作过程中也可以通过网络班级论坛和邮件发送，向老师和同学提问相关的问题，与同学一起作文。
