Abstract：“The Belt and Road” strategy brings great opportunities of development to the frontier area of our country， but also increases threats in the non-traditional security domains such as politics， economy， society and ecology in frontier areas. The mode of frontier non-traditional security governance characterized by “statist” tendency， territorial management of government， limited social participation etc. is difficult to adapt to features of cross-territory， liquidity and complexity of frontier non-traditional security under “the Belt and Road” strategy. Therefore， regionalization of the mode of cross-domain governance becomes the inevitable choice for the non-traditional security governance along “the Belt and Road”. The mode of cross-domain governance proposes to promote the formation of cross-national， regional and organizational cooperative non-traditional security governance pattern through multiple ways such as multinational cooperation， intergovernmental coordination， collaborative network building and so on.
