缺乏语言素材、无话可说、结构单一、表达不得体是学生写作普遍存在的问题。提高写作很难吗？事实上，阅读教学中多数老师都会讲解词句，处理语言点，这过程中学生就积累了大量的词句。问题是很多学生不懂得把阅读的词句灵活运用于写作。很多词句只停留在认知和理解的层面上，没有提高到运用的层面上。其实，这仅差一步之遥。只要教师在平时的阅读教学中就有意识地结合写作教学，设计相关话题的写作任务，引导学生去发现和运用有用的词句。长此以往，学生就能有意识地灵活运用阅读中的词句。期末复习时，也可引导学生就每单元话题的词句进行整理。积累素材，盘活词句，灵活运用，提高写作能力。同时，在反复应用的过程中，语言规则在不同语境中得到规范，运用语言的准确性也相继提高，实现“用中学”。阅读是语言输入的主要途径，更是写作的基础，通过阅读可以积累词汇，储存句法、语篇知识，学习遣词造句、布局谋篇的写作技巧。高中英语阅读课中应该贯穿写作的训练，促进写作能力的提高。以下是本人在期末写作指导中，引导学生就每单元话题归纳总结的有用词句。学生用这些句式和短语造句、改写或扩展，不费多大劲就大大提高写作成绩。

除了语言表达，参照高考写作评分的标准，告诉学生写作应试注意的要点也是很重要的。它包括以下几点1.审题，确定时态和人称 2. 段落，要点 3. 高级表达法4. 字数5. 书写 （卷面整洁，避免涂画） 6. 标点符号。
