浅析商务英语教学中文化的培养

摘要:With the development of global economic integration, business English has become more and more important in current society, in order to effectively communicate with western, we should grasp of western culture. Business English is not only English and Business knowledge, Business people for the understanding of the opposite part greatly affects the business negotiations and cooperation, therefore, in the business English teaching, we should focus on business cultural consciousness and ability training.

一、商务英语教学现状分析

商务英语是一门特殊用途语体,虽然本质上来讲它是一门语言类学科,但它更是“社会技能学科”,侧重于商务环境中的语言应用能力,尤其是跨文化商务交际的能力。All the processes for Business English are related to problem of culture difference between chinese and western countries. If the trade practice ignored the problem, then there will have a lot of differences, not good to successfully conclude the transaction. Because in the specific international communication, one will often affected by his native language rules, communication habits, cultural background and the way of thinking to express ideas, resulting in misunderstanding and conflict, sometimes directly led to the failure of business negotiations. So, In Business English teaching, we should effectively foster students'' communication ability in the context of cross cultural is necessary.

二、国际商务交往中的文化误解与文化冲突

国际贸易交往中,因文化差异而导致的误会有些只是闹出笑话,而有些则会造成经济损失,败坏公司形象。有时不了解贸易国家的文化环境不仅会导致失败,而且会引起国际商务活动的冲突和摩擦。这并不是危言耸听,世界上有许多种文化形式,国家之间、地区之间的文化差异是国际商务人员不能不考虑的因素。

在日益频繁的商务交际活动中,不同的文化因素在交流时会产生交叉和碰撞。如果不具备跨文化差异和不同的交流沟通方式的知识,就可能会产生误解和冲突,甚至会直接导致商务活动的失败。Business English teaching aims to cultivate skilled use of English language for international business talents, in order to adapt to the business environment development trend after China adds person WTO. So, in Business English teaching, strengthening business cultural awareness training has been crunch time.

三、商务英语中跨文化商务交际能力培养的对策

(一)明确教学指导思想,提高教育者自身素质

传统的英语教学中,教师将主要的精力集中到了“纯语言能力”的培养方面,忽视了文化背景的介绍及讲解。实践证明,成功的商务英语教学,不仅要求掌握基本的语言知识,更要有一定的文化背景知识。因此,作为商务英语教师,应积极转变传统的教学观念,熟悉商务英语教学所涉及到的两种文化—母语文化和目标语文化,有意识地增加文化差异方面的介绍和讲解,对自身薄弱方面进行充电。加强对教师的培训,提倡教师的自我进修。国际商务英语教师应努力做到精通“双语言”、“双文化”,熟悉两种语言和文化的差异。目前,大多数的商务英语教材都提供了大量的练习。

(二)具体教学过程中加强商务文化意识的培养

1.课堂教学导人跨文化意识,注重文化教学

2.利用多媒体及其它手段进行跨文化训练
