金色的校园时光

Reading, writing, arithmetic, too much homework makes me sick.School is such an important period of life in the United States.Generation after generation have gone through this endless cycle. As the years continue to add up, the more educational background1 is required to make it in this world.

Remember seeing that big yellow school bus on the first day of kindergarten2?That is when it all started.Those were the fun days.Only half a day of school and it was mostly recess. Then came Grade School where it was a whole day! Parents would send their children to school with plastic lunch boxes.Once done with Grade School than we got pushed into Junior High.We felt we were so cool.This was the time one would spend writing notes instead of doing a book report. Then came what everyone was waiting for High School!The days of Homecoming, Prom3, sports and our first loves. After a few years of High School, however, things were starting to get old. One could not wait to graduate and get to college.

During all of these years, remember how much homework there was?All of the different classes? It began with learning the ABC's and 123's and then it kept going to a five paragraph essay4 on the meaning of life (well not that dramatic, but it felt like it at the time!). There was English where there was writing essays and reading novels in words that do not exist any more.Then there was math, class where the solution to an equation5 was almost a page long.Science class was always fun because who know what would be waiting in the room when class started.And one can not forget gym class.Those uniforms6 and having to spend most of the class running around the football field.

During the years many interesting people made an appearance in one's life. In Grade School everyone was friendsandtheteacher was a friend too! Then in Junior High enemies were made, and groups were formed. Teachers became enemies also. Then in High School more friends were made,but even bigger groupswereformed and other enemies made. Some teachers were cool, others were lame.

School years hold so many memories. Some will always be cherished7 others will try to be forgotten.So many friends were made and they made such an impression in our lives. So much was learned during this time. Those years are ones that made us who we are today.It was a time of fun and innocence.Those days are the ones that are always appreciated8 once they are gone.

阅读、写作、算术；大量的家庭作业让我一点也快乐不起来。在美国，校园生活是人生非常重要的一段时光，代代如此，循环往复。随着时代的发展；社会对教育背景的要求也在提高。

还记得上幼儿园第一天看到的黄色学校巴士吗?一切正是从那时开始，那是快乐的日子。学校只上半天课，多数时间休息。然后上小学，要上一整天课!孩子们带着塑料午餐盒被父母送到学校。小学一毕业我们就直奔初中，感觉自己真酷，开始做笔记而不是写读书报告。接下来就是所有人都期盼的高中!校友返校节、舞会、体育运动，还有初恋。然而上了几年高中后一切都变得毫无新意。大家迫不及待地想毕业后上大学。

还记得这些年做了多少家庭作业么?所有不同学科?从学习的ABC或123开始，直到写五大段关于人生意义的作文(并不生动，却是当时的体会)。上英语课时，我们要写作文，欣赏语言生僻的小说；数学课上用几乎一页纸解一个方程式；科学课总是很有趣，因为没谁知道上课前教室里会有什么；更不会忘了体育课，身着统一的制服，多数时间被迫绕着球场跑圈。

那些年生活中出现了很多有趣的人。小学时，每个人都是朋友，连老师也是!到初中开始有了敌人和帮派，老师也成为敌人。上了高中朋友更多了，帮派更大了，而树敌也增加了。老师们要么很酷，要么很古板。

校园时光留下这么多回忆，有的值得永久珍藏，有的却想尽力忘记。结交了许多朋友，而他们在我们的生活中留下了非常深刻的印象；正是那段时光塑造了今天的我们，使我们学会了很多。快乐而单纯的岁月，一旦逝去才知道珍惜。
