惩罚也会绽放美丽

由于下午第一节课特别多,为了尽量减少学生下午上课迟到,我在开学时就向学生提出要求:不管谁上课迟到,包括老师在内,都要惩罚唱歌或讲笑话等。没想到惩罚也收到了意想不到的效果,同样也会绽放美丽

那是在3月上旬,刚走到高三(12)班教室门口时,就看见吴×同学后排的两男生走上前来,迅速地把讲台移到旁边,我当时挺纳闷:不要我上课了?我马上问道:What are you going to do?两男生随即回答道:老师,昨天吴××上课迟到,她要自罚跳舞,正等你来就开始呢!Ok.该女生在MP3的伴奏下,落落大方地跳了一段现代舞,棒极了!教室里爆发出热烈的掌声,我乘机问道:What do you think of her dancing?“Good.”“Excellent.”“Wonderful”“Beautiful”‘等一片叫好声。我接着问:Do you remember the word“fascinate”?同时把它写在黑板上,有同学说道:迷人,使神魂颠倒。“Very good!”我马上在黑板上写出这样三个句子:1.Wu’s dancing___each of us. 2.All of us are___with /by her dancing. 3.Her dancing is ____.要求同学们用fascinate的正确形式填空,并引导他们归纳出以前学过的类似的词,同学们踊跃地说出了:surprise,excite,disappoint,amaze,astonish,interest,satisfy,worry等一系列的情感类动词。接着,我又请同学们尝试翻译一复合句,To our delight ,wu’s dancing is so fascinating that it will be impressed on our memory.并请学生在黑板上划出该句中好的词汇和句型。紧接着提问吴文:I think you have a gift for dancing and pop music,do you take delight in dancing in your spare time?叫其他同学猜测该句中take delight in doing sth的含义,把它写在黑板上的同时,还附加了这样两个单句:1.I think wu is a delight to us.2.Dancing is her chief delight.让同学对比这两个句子中的delight并猜测它的意义及第二句子中抽象名词具体化的用法,给同学们一分钟写出至少6个以上类似的名词。我不失时机地说道:“尽管我们高三的生活非常忙碌和紧张,但是我们可以尝试用唱歌和跳舞的方式来得到一些放松。”然后请四个不同层次的同学上黑板翻译,同学们用到了though,although,even though,其中一同学写出了as引导的让步状语从句,并用了倒装结构,我请同学们对比黑板上的句子,哪个句子最精彩,最高级,哪个同学的书写最漂亮,以后在书面表达中尽量去模仿。之后,我在黑板上给出了两道高考题以巩固和拔高。

提醒同学们,能引导让步状语从句的词不只以上那些,While也可以,注意它在从句中的位置……

没想到一个小小的惩罚却引出了这节课的重点词汇和句型,这也就是我们平时所说的课堂中的即兴发挥吧!只要我们在平时的教学中做个有心人,善于去创设这些氛围和场合,我们定会收到更好的教学结果。
