汪少华 江苏省高考英语阅卷组组长。英语语言文学博士，硕士生导师，英语系主任，南京师范大学教授。同时担任《江苏外语教学》编辑工作，为编委会成员之一。为硕士研究生主要开设了“认知学”、“社会语言学”等课程，为本科生主要开设了“高级英语”、“跨文化交际”和“高级写作”等课程。目前研究方向主要有：语言学、隐喻学、语用学和语言教学研究等。

“我们正阅读着一本没有封面的书的某一章、某一节。”我一直将它视为座右铭：未来任我塑之。的确，我们可掌控秘不可知的未来，而且创造梦想的一切，如同雕刻家将顽石刻成美丽的雕塑。

时光一去不复返，因此，任凭我们如何努力都无法改变过去。未来正生动地展现在我们面前，我们的所作所为都会影响未来。未来在于现在！选择在我们手中！只要有敏锐的洞察力，每天都会有新的知识涌现。

英语学习是一场竞赛。一开始需要掌握大量的单词和词组，通晓语法。“良好的开端乃成功的一半。”开始要花时间做准备，但很值。只有我们了解遣词造句的规则、表达自己思想的方法，花够时间去操练英语，才会提速。

为达到这些目标，我们需要苦干。但仅靠苦干无法成功。我们还需巧干，掌握学习方法、相互学习、从他人和课本中求助，才能事半功倍。苦干加巧干才是成功之道！我们一开始就占尽先机，掌握良策，定会苦中得乐，走向成功。

“We are now reading one section, one chapter of a book without a cover.” Ive always regarded it as my motto that the future is in my hand. Indeed we are able to take control of the mysterious and unpredictable future, and whats more, we can create everything weve ever dreamed about as a sculptor is capable of making a hard stone a gorgeous sculpture.

Time goes by like flowing water never to return, so no matter how hard we try, the past is past. Yet the future is presented vividly in front of us right now. Moreover every little thing weve ever done can make a change to our future. The future is now! The choice is ours！As long as we have the keen insight, the brand new knowledge horizon is born every day.

English learning is a race with grasp of a lot of words and phrases, and mastery of grammar as its starting point. “Well begun is half done.” It takes time for preparation but this is rewarding. We can run faster only after we know the rules of using words, phrases and sentences, the ways to express ourselves appropriately and spend enough time in practising English.

In order to achieve all these goals, we need to work hard. But hard work is not enough for success. Only if we work smartly, we know how to learn, how to learn from others, how to get help from others and books, then results are more productive in less time. Work hard and work smart is the way to success! Good start and strategy may make our learning successful and delightful.
