It is now commonly known that AIDS is a deadly disease. It does damage to human beings’immune system, weakening resistance to disease and leading to death due to utter weakness. To this day, there are no existing drugs that can kill the ADIS virus. It is a deadly battle between science and AIDS.

This is only one side of the story. Although it cannot be cured, AIDS is preventable. For those who have not caught the disease, the knowledge of preventive measures seems to be the most powerful weapon at hand.

Since the discovery of the first AIDS patient in 1985, the number of HIV carries is on an alarming rise in China and statistics show that young people are the more likely victims of AIDS. Nationwide there are 214 million people between the ages of 13 and 22, most of whom are students. If no measures are taken to protect these young people, it is almost certain that the threat of AIDS will be very real to them. There has been a great deal of misinformation concerning the transmission of AIDS.

One of the most misleading myths is that AIDS can be transmitted by casual physical contact such as kissing, shaking hands or sharing food containers. Surveys and investigations conducted in some universities and colleges show that half of those people questioned are not clear about how AIDS is transmitted, not to mention how it is prevented.

This is the driving force behind the State Education Commission’s decision to spread AIDS awareness information among college students and later to high school students and primary school students.

包装是每个人都需要的,但什么是恰当的包装呢?如何包装才能更具有魅力呢?下面的文章就谈到了这个问题。

A person, like a commodity, needs packing. But going too far is absolutely undesirable. A little exaggeration, however, does no harm when it shows the person’s unique qualities to their advantages. To show personal attractiveness in a casual and natural way, it is important for one to have a clear knowledge of oneself. A skilled packager knows how to add art to nature without any signs of embellishment, so that the person so packaged is not a commodity but a human being, lively and lovely.

A young person, especially a female, shining with beauty and full of life, has all the favor granted by God. Any attempt to make up would be self-defeating. Youth, however, comes and goes in a flash. Packaging for the middle-aged is primarily to hide the marks made by years. If you still enjoy life enough to keep self-confidence and work at pioneering work, you are unique in your natural qualities, and your attractiveness and grace will remain. Elderly people are beautiful if their river of life has been, through plains, mountains and jungles, running its course as it should. You have really lived your life, which now arrivers at a self-satisfied stage of quietness and calmness with no interest in fame or wealth. There is no need to make use of hair dyeing. The snow-capped mountain is itself a beautiful scene of fairyland. Let your looks change from young to old in step with the natural aging process so as to keep in harmony with nature, for harmony itself is beauty, while the other way round will only end in unpleasantness. To be in the elder’s company is like reading a thick book of deluxe (better quality) edition that attracts one so as to be unwilling to part with.

As long as one finds where one stands, one knows how to package oneself, just as a commodity sets up its brand by the right packaging.
