汉译英正误分析

1．你认为明天的天气会怎样?

误：What do you think wifi the weather be like tomorrow?

正：What do you think the weather will be like tomorrow?

析：宾语从句需用陈述语序。

2．孩子们将不去上学，在家通过电脑学习。

误： Kids won’t go to school. He’ll study at home on computers,

正： Kids won’t go to school.They’ll study at home on computers.

析：此句主语为复数名词，所以要用they代替c

3．如果你想瘦些、健康些，最好少吃多锻炼。

误：If you want to be thinner and healthier,you’d better eatfewer food and take more exercise.

正：If you want to be thinner and healthier. You’d better eatless food and take more exercise.

析：名词food为不可数名词，不能用few或fewer修饰。

4．时间过得多快呀!

误：How time flys!

正：How time flies !

析：fly的第三人称单数形式是flies。

5．那箱蔬菜掉进了河里。

误：The box of vegetables fell in the river.

正：The box of vegetables fell into the river.

析：表示“跌落，落下”时用词组“fall into”。

6．不要把那个孩子单独留在家。

误：Don’t leave the kid lonaly at home.

正：Don’t leave the kid alone at home.

析：lonely意为“孤独的，寂寞的”，有强烈的感彩。表示“单独”之意时，应用alone。

7．这个小男孩能自己穿衣服。

误：The little boy can dress clothes.

正：The little boy can dress himself.

析：dress当“穿衣服”讲时宾语不能是表示衣物的名词，应该是表示人的名词或代词。

8．我知道他每天都做作业。

误：I know what he does his homework every day.

正：I know(that)he does his homework every day.

析：从句中不缺少其他句子成分，所以由that连接宾语从句。

9．我们谁都不懂。

误：Nobody of us can understand it.

正：None of us can understand it.

析：nobody后不可接of，表示全部否定时应用none。

误：Are you going to play with Class One?

析：play 作“打比赛”讲时直接接宾语。

11．不能和别的男孩打架。

误：Don’t have fight with other boys.

正：Don’t have a fight with other boys.

析：fight作“打仗，打架”讲时，为可数名词，故“have afightwith”这一词组中的a不能丢。

12．这家商店的衣服很时尚。

误：The clothes in the shop are in the style.

析：“in style”中的名词为抽象意义，不需用冠词。

13．他们住在一个叫桉树村的村庄。

误：They five in a village calls Gum Tree.

正：They hve in a village called Gum Tree.

析：此句中村庄是被叫作桉树村，需用过去分词表被动，作定语修饰vilhge。

14．他们对那个男孩说的话感到吃惊。

误：They were surprised for what the boy said.

正：They were surprised at what the boy said.

析：“be surprised at”表示“因……感到吃惊”，介词at表示原因，不用for。

15．你付给他多少钱?

误：How much money did you pay for him?

正：How much money did you pay him?

析：“pay for”后面接要买的物品或花钱要办的事；付给某人钱用“pay sb．some money”。

16．她感到晚上很难入睡。

误：She finds difficult to sleep at night.

正：She finds it difficult to sleep at night.

析：find的宾语可以是名词、代词，也可以是不定，但不定式常放在宾语补足语之后，用it作形式宾语。“find it…to do…”是常用句型。

17．你妹妹的工作怎么样了?

误：How is your sister getting on well with her work?

正：How is your sister getting on with her work?

析：how本身就是询问程度如何，所以不能用表示程度的well。

误：Let me give you an advice !

正：Let me give you a piece of advice !

析：advice是不可数名词。
