对一堂英语听说课的反思

在初中英语教学中,我们提倡“听、说领先,读、写跟上”。首先,它符合语言学习的自然顺序和规律。听、说是口语,学习口语有助于学习书面语,是读和写的开路先锋。其次,它符合初中生的心理和年龄特征。从口语入手可以调动学生的学习积极性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。再次,它符合语言教学的规律。先从口语训练,可使课堂教学自然化,有利于培养学生养成语言学习的良好习惯。下面我就以七年级(下)第九单元的听说课为例,谈谈本人的一些不成熟的看法 。

教学内容:

本单元是(Go for it七年级下Unit9)以Physical appearance为话题,旨在通过单元教学使学生掌握一些描述人物外表的新词汇;学会询问并描述人的基本外貌特征;并继续学习一般现在时的用法。本节课是Section A部分的第一课时。

教学目标:

1.知识目标

(1) Learn some words of people’s looks.

(2)Learn dialogues of describing people’s looks.

例如: — What does he look like?

— He’s tall and has short curly hair.

2.能力目标

Enable the students to understand descriptions about people’s looks and talk about them.

3.情感目标。

通过本课学习,培养学生正确的审美观,并通过实践让学生体验学习英语的乐趣。

教学设计:

1.总体思路

本课采用任务型教学法,借助多媒体技术进行教学,通过明星俱乐部这一主线,首先通过讨论明星的相貌来学习并掌握有关外貌的词汇和句型,然后观看一小段明星的视频,运用所学的词汇和句型结构来描述视频中的人物,明星们的出现不仅增添了课堂教学的趣味性和互动性,而且使学生始终保持浓厚的学习兴趣,从而培养了学生的参与意识和实践能力。

2.教学过程

Warming up and lead-in:

Do you like stars such as Zhou Jielun, Han Geng? Today you are very lucky because Miss Wang has opened a star club. There are many famous stars you like best. Would you like to come to my star club?

Learn new words:

hair——short hair long hair straight hair curly hair

height——tall short of medium height

build——heavy/fat thin of medium build

Learn new dialogues:

—What does he/she look like?

— He/She has short/long/straight/ curly hair.

Pairwork1 all students stand up and practice the dialogue :

—What does he/she look like?

—He/She has short/long/straight/ curly hair.

Learn new dialogues:

— What does he/she look like?

—He/She is tall/short/of medium height/heavy/thin/of medium build.

Pairwork2 all students stand up and practice the dialogue (两人一组互相练习,讨论自己最喜爱明星的外貌,请两到三组同学表演对话)。例如:

—What does He Jiong look like?

—He’s thin and has short straight hair.

Watching and Writing

There is something wrong with Miss Wang’s star club.

Because there are some bad people in my club.Can you help me to find them and send them to the policemen?

After watching , write down the persons in the video.

What does she/he look like?

What does the child look like? ________________________

What does the father look like? ________________________

Homework

Please tell your friends what your parents look like and write down your oral work.

教学反思:

1.整堂课在设计上有层次性、有梯度,单词和句型的呈现由简入难,各个环节过渡自然,由一条明显的主线将各个环节串联起来,学生自始至终激情饱满,对下一环节的内容充满着好奇和兴趣,特别是当教师要他们帮忙抓俱乐部的小偷时更是热情高涨,下了课还意犹未尽。

2.但也有很多值得思考的地方:(1)我校提倡每节课板书教学目标,可是很多时候往往把知识目标作为主要的或是唯一的目标展示,这是否科学合理,对能力目标和情感目标老师们应如何对待。(2)英语中“听”的理解和定义,学生听录音是“听”,那么学生听同学说是“听”吗?学生听教师说是“听”吗?(3)如果最后环节中的视频画面更清晰,小偷的五官长相更形象突出同时文字和声音又是英文的话,给学生的任务既明确又有的放矢。所以,唱歌、游戏应该作为辅助中学生学习英语的一些手段,而不是培养兴趣的手段。在英语学习中,光听说不读写,很难收到高效。只靠模仿不培养学习能力,也难减轻学习负担。所以初中生还是应当认真进行语言学习。
