Abstract. Ministry of Education put forward to adhere to the employment-oriented development of higher vocational education. The key of Employment-oriented is to enhance and train Students’ Employability and competitiveness. In this paper, the writer analyzed the vocational colleges engineering graduates employment status quo, investigated many unfavorable factors affecting the employment of graduates. Finally, the write strive to find countermeasures come to reduce or eliminate the adverse factors. Current graduates’ increasingly severe employment pressure situation and the analysis to guide and promote the employment of graduates of vocational college graduates have some practical significance.

1. Introduction

China's higher education, in the process of achieving elite education to mass education transformation, has faced social issues of graduate employment and gets attention of social aspects increasingly. Graduate employment reason may be related to society, universities and students themselves and other aspects, but one important reason is students’ lack of employment capability. Therefore, improving the employability of university students has become the key to solving the problem of employment of university students, and an important problem for college to solve. Xiao Yun from Chongqing University, Liu Zhiye from Shandong University, Wang Baoyi from Xuzhou Normal University, Huang Jianchang from Southwest Agricultural University and Li Zhi from Southwest University and other scholars, combined with their own research, made depth study in graduates employment issues and achieved certain results. However, for now, the issue of vocational college graduates in-depth analysis of the literature is rare. The survey found the reasons of difficult employment of graduates are various. There are several differences between College Students' Competitiveness and social needs, and graduate schools and the community should bear some responsibility for this. Talent Strategy needs tens of thousands of highly skilled personnel; however, vocational graduate employment rate is very low. Therefore, analyzing factors affecting the characteristics of higher vocational educational institutions, professional competence of graduates, and other social talents demand for graduates, and proposing measures are in favor of resolving conflicts between graduate employment and business demand for talents.

3.6 Systematic and professional career guidance and information flow collection

Establishing systematic and professional career guidance system and taking employment guidance in career planning education as a systematic project have a good role in promoting professional competence of the students. While actively searching large and medium-sized engineering and construction business professionals demand information, we should also pay attention to the small-scale, local, and private sector employment information, to broaden and establish a good, smooth flow of information collection channels and help to improve the employment rate.

4. Conclusion

Vocational graduates must enhance the employment crisis, taking advantage of the college to learn more knowledge, arm themselves with knowledge and wisdom, and meantime enhance the social practical ability to sense each step of the workplace. Vocational training institutions in vocational qualifications and practical skills should be closely integrated with social needs. Teaching and management graduates in social work should be to improve the competitiveness of the core to expand. We should, from related industries and enterprises, introduce advanced technical to enrich teaching staff line and establish "double type" teachers structure; established training base in and out of school, and enhance practice sessions; strengthen and innovate forms of employment guidance and help students establish grassroots meritorious career outlook. We should develop practical skilled talents proficient in both theoretical knowledge and application technology, fully embodying the characteristics of higher vocational schools, making vocational graduates really become much-needed talent, and fundamentally solving vocational employment problem.
