冲浪狗成明星

In the picture, a dog named “Dan” is surfing with its owner at the Riyue Bay in Wanning, a city in south China’s Hainan Province. The surfing dog became a star at the 2010 International Surfing Festival in Wanning as many visitors came to watch its performances.

艺术家用火车票“盖”英国地标建筑

An artist has turned used rail tickets into his eye-catching London buildings. Robert made models of St. Paul’s Cathedral（圣保罗大教堂）, Blackpool Tower（黑泽塔） and Edinburgh Castle（爱丁堡城堡）with 115,000 used train tickets. The buildings were selected（选择）from the top ten of places to visit taken from a poll（投票）of users of a website.

Mr. Robert is no stranger to working with recycled things. He has made things out of his children’s unwanted toys and old drink cans.

His works will be in show at Waterloo Station.

世界上最小的汽车

According to the Metro.co.uk, British man Perry Watkins has assembled（组装）officially the world’s smallest car. The car is just 41 inches high, 51 inches long and 26 inches wide, with a top speed of 60 kph.

废汽车零件变身变形金刚

A huge transformer model is on show at the Wanda Square in Jinan, capital of east China’s Shandon Province. The transformer model, 11.5 meters in height and six tons in weight, was made out of vehicles parts from 16 waste motorbikes（摩托车）and over 20 automobiles（汽车）.

丑小鸭

A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says, “That’s the ugliest baby that I’ve ever seen.” The woman goes to the back of the bus and sits down. She is so angry and says to the man next to her, “The driver just made me angry!” The man says, “You go right up there and tell him off. Go ahead. I’ll hold your monkey for you. ”

Tom: William has asked me to lend him five pounds. Should I lend it to him？

Jack: Certainly.

Tom: And why？

I saw him in the shopping center. He was holding a red box. Behind him were three trees covered with little paper angels. On them there were the names of needs of little children throughout Roanoke, VA, Around the trees were wrapped（包装）packages of all shapes（形状）and sizes, and people were dropping off more of them as I sat and watched.

There was something else about that happy man standing there. I didn't notice it at first. He only used one hand. His other hand was cut off. It was quite unusable. I walked to him and put it some money. Then we started to talk. I asked him why he was doing this and he said he wanted to help those who needed help ...

I thanked him for what he was doing. In theshopping center, among thousands of people out for gifts for themselves or for those they love, there stands a small man who spends day and night trying to get gifts, not for himself but for others―little children，the hungry, and the homeless.
