如何训练高中英语写作

整个高中阶段,英语教学的四种技能(听,说,读,写)是相辅相成,相互促进。而写贯穿于教学全过程,是语言生产能力的重要表现形式,即运用学过的英语知识进行思想交流。《普通高等学校招生全国统一考试大纲》关于书面表达的命题方式是要求考生根据所给的情景,用英语写一篇短文。提供情景的形式有图画,图表,提纲等,这实质上是一种控制性或指导性写作,它不得离开要求去自行立意、随意发挥;它与“翻译”相似,但又比翻译”灵活。它是在指定范围内比较灵活的写作。常常会要求学生根据所给的情景和要求写出一篇文理通顺、语言准确、连贯流畅、地道的英语短文。纵观近几年的英语高考试题,写作实际上是考查学生综合运用英语语言的能力。结合本人的教学实践,就英语写作训练谈谈自己一些做法。

一、注重基本功,循序渐进

“冰冻三尺,非一日之寒”英语写作能力并非是一蹴而就,它必须由浅入深,由简到繁,由易到难,循序渐进,一环紧扣一环地进行训练。教师应注重基本功训练,严格要求学生正确,工整,熟练地书写字母,单词和句子,同时注意大小写和标点符号。掌握基本词汇,基本语法。进行组词造句时,要求准确,因为运用语法和词汇的准确程度直接地影响到信息的准确传输。

(一) 练熟基本句型

每天课前写3-5个句子,当场讲评,这即复习了句子基本成分结构又复习了一些重要语法。

1 简单句:主系表, there be , 主谓(状语), 主谓宾 , 主谓双宾 , 主谓宾补, 祈使句 , 感叹句

2 并列句

3 复合句:主语从句 ,表语从句 ,宾语从句 ,同位语从句 ,定语从句 ,状语从句(时间,地点,原因,目的,结果,条件,让步,比较)

(二)学会简化句子

在高考书面表达中,由于时间的限制,许多考生写出的句子显得过于单调呆板。其实,要想在有限的时间里写出丰富,生动的句子并不难,只要对所学的英语句式加以简化,就一定能使写出来的句子更加准确,得体,简洁,灵活,是文章添彩,以提高得分。

1 用单词简化句子

As he was tired and hungry, the boy was unwilling to move on.

简化为 Tired and hungry, the boy was unwilling to move on.

2 用介词短语简化句子

We will not finish the task if you do not help us.

简化为 Without your help, we will not finish the task..

We found the bookstore easily because the boy led the way.

简化为 We found the bookstore easily with the boy leading the way.

3 用动名词简化句子

When he arrives, please give me an e-mail.

简化为 On his arriving, please give me an e-mail.

Mary came late , which made her teacher angry.

简化为 Mary’s coming late made her teacher angry.

4 用分词简化句子

As he was lying in the grass, he thought of his parents who were living in the countryside.

简化为 Lying in the grass , he thought of his parents living in the countryside.

Once it is seen , it will never be forgotten.

简化为 Once seen, it will never be forgotten..

5 用不定式简化句子

He spoke louder so that the audience could hear him clearly.

简化为 He spoke louder to be heard by the audience.

6 用独立主格简化句子

If weather permits, we shall go there on foot.

简化为 Weather permitting, we shall go there on foot.

7 用省略简化句子

Henry looked about as if he were in search of something .

简化为 Henry looked about as if in search of something .

8 用倒装句简化句子

If I were you, I would take this advice.

简化为 Were I you ,I would take this advice.

(三)背词句背范文

利用有限的时间,背诵课文中的重点句型和短语,尤其是课文中的俗语谚语和经典句子。

Eg. proverbs

No pains no gains.

Where there is a will , there is a way.
