The FRog in a Shallow Well

A frog(青蛙)lived at the bottom(底)of a well(井)，he lived alone(独自)all the time.Sometimes,he jumped onto a stone(石头)and sang;sometimes he swam in the water,he ate worms(虫)and drank the water in the well.

One day,a bird flew into the well to drink.The frog said,“Hello,where are you from?”

“I am from a very big place,”the little bird said.

“It couldn’t be bigger than here,the sky(天空)is only as big as the well.Hearing this,the birdlaughed(大笑),”You are quite wrong.You stay in the well and never come out of it.You don’t know how big the sky is.The sky is the biggest of all.“I don’t think so,I look at the sky every day.It is quite similar to the well,it’s round.I’m free in the well,it is clean here.I can go for a walk on the side of the well.When I’m hungry,I jump into the water,I can have a harvest of food.When I want to have a rest,I can have a good time.?The bird said,“The place outside the well is different.It’s much better than here.There are flowers,trees,birds and animals.There are people and all kinds of food and drinks outside;the seasons are different and colorful.Getting out of the well,you can have a new look at the sky and you can have a new look at the things under the sky.”

Now,the bird and the frog stood on the top(顶部)of the well,the fron looked around,looked up and down with his eyes wide.How big the frog thought the sky was now!

井底之蛙

一只青蛙独自住在一口井里，从来没有出过井。有时，他跳到石头上唱歌；有时又在水里游泳，他吃水里的虫子，喝井里的水。

一天，一只小鸟飞到井里喝水。青蛙说：“你好，你从哪里来？”

“我来自一个非常大的地方。”小鸟说。

“不可能比这儿更大了吧，天空也只有井口这么大。”小鸟听了这话，大笑起来：“你大错特错了。你呆在井里，一直不出来，你不知道天空有多大，天是最大的。”

“我看不是这样，我每日看天，天和井一样大，也是圆的。我在井里很自由，这儿很干净，我还可以在井壁上散步。饿了的时候，就跳进水里，可以大吃一顿。想休息的时候，我就高高兴兴地休息。”

小鸟说：“井的外面跟这儿不同，比这儿好多了。外面有花，有树，有鸟，有动物，有人，还有各种各样吃的、喝的；四季不同，色彩斑斓。你跳出井去看看天，就能发现天下的新事物。”

小鸟和青蛙站在井沿上，青蛙睁大了眼睛上下左右到处看。青蛙现在知道天有多么大了吗？
