新标准小学英语(三起)教学设计

一、教学内容

外研社(新标准小学英语三年级起点) B8M8U1 Helen Keller。海伦・凯勒是20世纪最伟大的盲聋女作家,教育家,她身残志坚的故事曾感染、激励着无数人。

1.新词汇:born,as,wrote,drew,all over the world,model

2.新句型:She was blind. So she couldn’t see. / She was deaf. So she couldn’t hear. / But she could learn.

二、教学目标

1.知识目标。通过创设情景和大量练习,让学生能够谈论现在和过去所具备和不具备的能力。

2.能力目标。在完成知识目标的基础上,通过游戏和阅读比赛活动的开展,培养学生的合作能力、竞争意识和综合运用语言知识的能力。

3.情感目标。通过学习Helen Keller这位世界上著名身残志坚有志之人的优秀事迹,让学生学有所得,学有所悟,希望她的精神能激励能教育我们的学生在任何时候遇到艰难都永不退缩。

4.策略目标。通过课前预习、课上互动、课下交流反思,老师和学生互敬互学,师生关系十分融洽。

三、教学重点与难点

重点:学生能够用“could, couldn’t”来描述过去所具备和不具备的能力。

难点:学生能够流利地使用正确时态来描述自己的能力,能够复述Helen Keller的伟大事迹。

四、教学辅助工具

多媒体,图片,学生小时候的照片。

五、教学过程

Teaching Steps:

Pre-reading

Step1师生对话,学习生词

T: Good morning, everyone. Let’s begin our class.

Ss: Good morning, Ms Xue.

T: Now let’s begin our class, OK?

Ss: OK!

(Well begun, half done.课前ppt展示我与学生春游以及我自己的一些生活照片,目的是激发学生轻松愉快的心情,也为后面的Helen Keller不幸的童年的课文教学形成一个对比。)

T:At that time, we had a good time, ok?

Ss: Yes.

T:Now,look at the screen, look at the photo. Who is she ?

Ss: It’s you./ Ms Xue.

T:Yes, you’re right. Do you want to know something more about me ?

Ss: Yes.

T:You should ask me some questions about the things that you want to know. For example: If you want to know my English name,you should ask me “What’s your English name ?”I’ll tell you :“My English name is Alice.”OK

Ss: OK!

(屏幕展示我的一张生活照片,带有我的个人信息:English name, Age, hobbies.)

T:The Age.

S1:How old are you ?

T: I’m 35. I was born in 19__ ?(板书born)

S2: In 1977.

T Yes, you’re right. You’re so clever!(翘大拇指奖励) I was born in 1977. How about you ?

S3:I was born in2000.

T:Good boy/girl.

S4:I was born in 2000, too.

T: Good boy/girl. But I want to tell you , in the foreign countries the age is a secret for the ladies, if you ask the ladies “ How old are you?”, the ladies will think that you’re not polite. And look at the hobbies.

S5:What’s your hobby ?

T: I have got two hobbies. One is writing. I like writing. Look! Yesterday I wrote an email to my friend.(课件呈现所写电子邮件,教学write―wrote.为阅读教学扫清障碍。)

My another hobby is drawing. I like drawing,too. Look! Last week I drew a picture. (课件呈现所画图画,教学draw---drew.)

【设计意图】本环节通过观看老师的生活照片以及师生对话,在真实的生活情景中轻松有趣的学习了新单词born, wrote, drew. 为阅读教学扫清障碍。

【设计意图】本环节在学生理解了文本内容和文本的背景下,了解了主人翁克服了种种困难,做到了常人所难做到之事,学生为之高兴,同时也备受鼓励和感动,再来有感情的朗读课文,效果不错。

T:Have you got any questions about Part2 and Part3?

Ss: No.

T:But I have got a questions. Look!(课件呈现The teacher drew letters in Helen’s hand.)Here is “drew” not “wrote”,why?

Ss: Don’t know.

T: “Drew”= “wrote slowly”. Look!(播放一段Helen’s teacher 教Helen学习的视频) What do you think of Helen’s teacher?

S19:She was very nice and kind.

T:Yes, you’re right. So I think we should read “drew letters” slowly. Who wants to try?

S20:Give me a change.

【设计意图】本环节通过对model的理解,使学生树立学榜样意识,得到了情感教育。

T:Wonderful.Now read the text emotionally! Go!

T:Let’s sing a song about Helen Keller. OK?(ppt展示,配有音乐。)

【设计意图】歌曲教学简单易学,将文本的重点句子用歌曲的形式让学生唱出来,学生能在较短的时间内掌握本文的中心句子。

T:Now retell the story.(ppt展示,根据图片及关键词提示完成。)

【设计意图】图片排序――认读句子――图文搭配,从易到难,层层递进,帮助学生从不同的角度整体理解篇章,并为完成以下的篇章结构图打下基础。
