CHENNAI: Easing the process of visa applications, the Consulate General of the netherlands in Mumbai has extended its service for collection of visa applications and delivery process to Chennai. VFS Global will be responsible for accepting applications for short stay Schengen visas to the netherlands for residents of Chennai and neighbouring areas. The key features include longer operating hours, visa information including visa types, applicable fees and application status, support and door step delivery of passports.
BANGALORE: Meanwhile, Bangalore too got itself a new visa application centre. Announcing the launch of the new service for visa applications and delivery, French and Swiss visa applications will now be processed through VFS Global in Bangalore. VFS Global will accept applications for French visas from Bangalore, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and for Swiss visas from residents of Karnataka. The new SVAC will also accept visa applications for Schengen countries like Austria, Belgium, Italy, Malta, netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden.
VFS JAPAN: For those who are looking towards travelling to Japan this year, to make the process of visa application hassel free the Embassy of Japan introduced the visa applications processing through Japan Visa Application Centre (JVAC).
