忠于自己即是忠于美

21岁的加拿大创作型歌手Alessia Cara在与唱片公司签约以后，迅速发行了首张专辑“Know-It-All”，紧接着又为迪士尼电影《海洋奇缘》（Moana）献唱片尾曲“How Far I Will Go”，同时她的名字也出现在各大奖项的提名榜单上。Alessia Cara的脸孔亲切甜美如邻家女孩，声音却如天籁般直击人们内心深处。她独特的嗓音、真挚的歌词和真诚动人的演唱方式使她的很多歌曲都拥有启迪人心的力量。

歌曲“Scars to Your Beautiful”就是其中一首，歌词以第三人称的视角讲述了渴望受到关注的年轻女孩为了拥有封面女郎般的美貌不惜节食甚至接受整容手术，却不幸迷失自我的故事。在Alessia Cara看来，长期以来人们受困于约定俗成的“美的标准”，无法接受真正的自己，因此痛苦迷茫，而事实上美无所不在、无所不包，只是需要我们去发现并认可它的存在。无论是战火留下的伤痕，还是疾病造成的脱发，或者一颗突出的虎牙，甚至是胸前的一颗痣，都是独一无二的记号，是构成自我的一部分，不容置疑。

MV中的Alessia Cara没有穿华服，没有化浓妆，也没有用Photoshop把身体修饰出夸张的曲线。她以高亢嘹亮的歌声唱出了自己想表达的思想，渴望让更多的人能够鼓起勇气放下美颜相机，接受并热爱最真实的自己，不必为追赶潮流疲于奔命，不必为他人的评论战战兢兢，也不必为个体差异感到羞耻。在她看来，那些被称作“疤痕”的并不是自己身上的缺陷或者瑕疵，而是审美标准下他人突兀且粗鲁的评头论足，因此她高唱“No scars to your beautiful， we&apos；re stars and we&apos；re beautiful”。在社会审美框架中为自己的瑕疵而苦恼的女孩们，都应该正视自己，接受自己，忠于自己，让内在的璀璨之光穿过身体，让美因自己而存在。
