Design of logistics information system based on RFID Technology

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of picking system of logistics, the logistics sorting system modernization, informationization, the logistics sorting system integrated into other business systems, it is necessary to study the logistics sorting operation mode, sorting strategy of traditional, combine with the electronic information technology and modern equipment. The paper analyze and study distribution center picking system, the sorting business planning theory, implementation of electronic tags assisted picking system Etc..

0 Introductions

Each link of the distribution operation, sorting operation is very important; it is the core of the whole distribution operation system. In the distribution of material handling cost, sorting operation cost about 90%, sorting time about the distribution center operation time of 30% - 40%. Therefore, rational planning of sorting operation area has a decisive influence on the ability to meet the requirements of distribution center and to raise the level of service.

Express products have complex types, sizes, different packaging. If we use bar code technology in general, it is difficult to ensure that the product transfer process accurately track management, the use of a radio frequency identification system for intelligent storage management, which can effectively solve warehouse management information associated with the product flow, monitor product information, real-time to understand the product, the automatic identification products, locate products. Because the radio frequency identification technology has non-contact, non-line of sight data transmission characteristics, so the product can not be considered directional transmission problems parcels. In addition, due to the characteristics of the electronic tag can record all the data delivery products, more conducive to improving the accuracy of product sorting.

Based on the auxiliary sorting system for electronic label takes central computer as controller, through multi group is arranged in the electronic tag storage of lower machine, light signal, the buzzer sounds, digital display signal to control the electronic tag through the central computer, make the worker correctly, fast, easily finish replenishment (storage) and delivery (out) task. It has flexible control operation time, real-time control, emergency order processing and other functions, so as to effectively reduce the mistake rate, speed, improve work efficiency, reasonable arrangements for personnel walking route etc..

1 The composition and working principle based on RFID system

1.1 The composition of RFID system

A basic RFID system consists of RFID tags, readers, computer communication network three parts:

(1) Electronic tags will store the information about the product and placed on the product, the information be stores that can usually be through non-contact reader and read/write to read;

(2) The reader can use radio frequency technology to read/write device electronic tag information.

(3) Computer communication networks are used for data management, the communication transmission is completed. The reader can be connected through standard network interface to communicate with the computer in order to realize the communication and data transfer functions.

1.2 The working principle of RFID

When the product is close to the reader, the tag will receive query signals emitted by the reader, while the energy emitted by read-writer activated the tag reader. Electronic label according to the requirements of the interrogation signal, the tag information is fed back to the reader. After the reader receives the microwave signal is fed back label, demodulated and processed by the internal circuitry of the reader, the tag identified internally stored identification code and other information. Such information as the feature data of the object is transferred to the control computer for further processing thus completes the information about the query object, charges, release, statistical management applications.

Specific structure and principle shown in Figure 1:

1.3 The design of RF module

Modulation and demodulation chip selected SL RC500 integrated chip, SLRC400 is a highly integrated 13.56MHz passive range of a communications chip. Meanwhile, the parallel communication interface can be easily connected to the 8-bit microcontroller; the circuit design is very flexible. Schematic diagram shown is in Figure 2.

1.4 Information access and transmission principle

RFID logistics sorting system is shown in Figure 3. The system consists of RFID literacy component, communication and display control interface, sorting systems management software. Following describes the composition and main functions of each part.

(l) RFID reader assembly

RFID read by the system of the reader antenna and the RF tag, is responsible for the tray to complete the automatic identification tag, and the tag information read by the interface RS232 transmitted to the computer terminal, as a sorting system management software data sources.

(2) Communications and Display Control Interface

By the CAN communication module and display module. Primarily responsible for the sorting operation information is transmitted to the various tobacco goods sorting station through CAN, the display needs to sort out the information on smoke LCD at the appropriate station, providing instructions for the operation of the sorting personnel.

(3) Sorting System Management Software

The software is mainly responsible for the control and management of the entire sorting system, the completion of the exchange of information management software and RFID reader and updated in real time so that data in a database based on the reader's operations, tracking tobacco goods sorting process.

2 Logistics sorting system based on rfid

Express logistics products according to the content and the weight of the cargo carrier, divided into documents, parcels and cargo. File to import the border without customs clearance, no commercial value of information goods, weighing in at 500 grams; package is required for customs clearance, and the commercial value is higher than the paper goods, weighing in at 30 kilograms; cargo refers to large cargo in 30 kg 250 kg in weight. Three kinds of products have different forms, the traditional bar code cannot scan to accurate information, need to use sorting in different ways, so the RFID can well solve the problem of sorting, automatic sorting system unified. In addition, because the express products require rapid sorting and delivery to customers, so do not need to construct the storage warehouse specialist, only need to set up temporary storage system.

3 The principle of goods sorting

After sorting control module receives a request message containing the item number, the first obtained sorting information from the query server items of information, access to export the address of this item, then sends a query response message returned to the sorting controller. If you receive a message sorting results, simply reply to a confirmation message.

After completing the above operation, the following message sorting and sorting the results of the polymerization request message. First, the polymerization process may eliminate duplicate messages; then find the message with the same item numbers and sorting controller numbers match, and both meet the relationship between the time sequence (i.e., the same sorting process, the request message generating sorting the time should result message before sorting). Finally, the polymerization operation completion message, and sends a feedback message to the sorting information query server. Message aggregation is possible to save in memory, the message waiting matching arrival. Module control flowchart shown is in Figure 5.

4 Conclusions

Auxiliary electronic labeling picking systems have been widely applied in various fields of logistics distribution center and warehousing center based, although China and improve the efficiency in this respect, but the implementation of different decision sorting system based on electronic label in China, compared with foreign countries there are still some gaps. Because of the limited time, this paper only analyzed realization conditions of the electronic labeling picking system based on strategy, and the selected mode is sorting strategy is simple to achieve, need to study and solve the further concrete application.
