灰姑娘与坏女孩

Ella（Anne Hathaawy饰）出生于一个色彩斑斓的奇幻世界中，每个在这里出生的孩子都会得到仙女的“礼物”，而她得到的“礼物”是服从。无论是多苛刻的要求，只要一声命令，Ella便会一一照办。Ella母亲去世前便叮嘱她以后要用自己内心的真实信念与咒语抗衡，而且必须找到下咒语的魔女才能完全解除咒语。此时的Ella已经饱受继母及继母女儿的折磨，而她告诉自己必须要找到当年送她“礼物”的那位仙女，但一切进行得并不顺利。一个偶然的机会，她认识了英俊的王子Char（Hugh Dancy饰），自小父母便离世的他十分听从叔叔的话。Ella跟Char很快便坠入了爱河，当回到城堡的时候，Ella发现了Char叔叔的秘密，而且她身上的咒语更受到了他的利用……

本选段讲的是Ella与继母的其中一个女儿Hattie在学校里就国家政策问题进行的辩论，却不料让Hattie发现了Ella会服从她的一切命令的秘密。

(Ella gives herself a pat on the back. The girls laugh.)

Teacher: Hattie?

Hattie: Oh. What my unworthy opponent fails to realize is Sir Edgar has done a fantastic job. He has driven the ogres out, and he has put giants and elves to work as laborers

Teacher: Ella?

Ella: Anyway, er, in conclusion…

Hattie: ②Hold your tongue, Ella.

(Ella holds her tongue. The girls laugh again.)

Teacher: Ella!

Ella: My tongue 9)itches.

Teacher: Well, if you’re not going to take this seriously, I have no choice but to declare Hattie the winner.

(The girls cheer.)
