Li Yuchun doesn’t mind being called “advertising poison”

It’s said that a certain toothpaste which had Li Yuchun（李宇春） as its spokeswoman didn’t sell well. And because of this Chunchun was called “advertising poison”. When asked how she was feeling about this， she said that she didn’t mind it at all and that it wouldn’t have any bad effect on her acting as a spokeswoman.

Li Yapeng wept three times for his daughter

In his Blog， Li Yapeng（李亚鹏）mentioned that he had three times shed tears（掉泪） for his daughter. The first time is when his daughter was born―he saw his daughter lying there so quietly and her skin was not at all as smooth as other new-born babies. The second time was when he told his wife the news that their daughter had a harelip（兔唇）―he held his wife’s hands， looking at her and shedding tears. The third time was when he took her daughter to the hospital to treat her harelip―he had to hold his daughter tightly so that the doctor could do the examination though she was crying hard. He dared not see the doctor and his daughter and was trying to look out of the window， unable to help shedding tears.

It’s said that Li Yapeng and his wife Wang Fei（王菲） have donated（捐赠） one million yuan to establish a foundation（基金会）， called “Smile Angel”， which is to help poor children who suffer a harelip.

Peter Jackson may not direct “Hobbit”

Peter Jackson， who has become very famous for his film “The Lord of the Rings”（《指环王》），said in a letter to his fans that he decided not to direct（导演） the film “Hobbit”（《霍比特人》），whose story has already been continued by “The Lord of the Rings”. Learning of this， millions of fans hoped that Peter Jackson would stay and go on to direct the film “Hobbit”.

In the letter Jackson said， “The present result is neither what we want nor what we expect. Hate or detest（憎恨） is no use. Now we have no choice but to forget the making of the film ‘Hobbit’.”

Zhang Ziyi became “one of the most noteworthy businesswomen in Asia”

America’s “Wall Street Journal”（《华尔街日报》） announced the list of “the most noteworthy businesswomen in Asia in 2006”， among whom most are Chinese， including the Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi（章子怡）. “Wall Street Journal” says that Zhang has a great effect on the entertainment industry（娱乐业） though she is not a typical business leader.

In an interview with CNN （an American TV station）， Zhang talked of her childhood， her struggle experience and her dream for the future. She said that she didn’t mean to conquer Hollywood， and now what she wanted to do is to have a good husband to marry.

Rain visits Song Huiqiao with snacks

While Song Huiqiao（宋慧乔） was filming “Huang Zhenyi”（《黄真伊》） in Korea， Rain went to see her and brought her night snacks， which shows a close friendship between them.

Once acting in “Full House”（《浪漫满屋》） as the hero and heroine， Rain and Song Huiqiao are regarded as a pair of “golden boy and jade girl”. In order to cheer Song Huiqiao on， Rain specially came to thefilming location of “Huang Zhenyi” to see her and brought her night snacks. When he came， all the staff were having dinner. Rain’s arrival received envious looks from the actresses present. At last， Song Huiqiao saw Rain to the parking lot（停车场） to express her gratitude.

Xiang Xiang is a bit depressed

It’s unfortunate that some thief visited the house of Xiang Xiang（香香）, a network singer, and took away some money and expensive things.

When she got home that day, Xiang Xiang was shocked by what she had seen. The house was in an utter mess. On inspection she found that the thief not only stole all the cash and jewelry in the house, but also took some expensive clothes, and even some souvenirs（纪念品） she bought in Tibet. With the help of her assistant, Xiang Xiang called 110 for help.

Xiang Xiang hoped, optimistically（乐观地）, that all these unlucky things would be soon past, and that her new MV“A Basin of Tears”would wash away all her bad luck.
