日渐“变味”的女权主义

The notion of feminism first emerged in Western countries, which refers to the social theories and political movements that are motivated by the social experience of females. In Western countries, the primary goal of feminism is gender equality, which is particularly shown in the form of franchise.

Nowadays, feminism has brought many changes to Western society, not only including cultural perspectives, but also some legislation. Feminists have constantly “fight” for female’s legal rights (contractual right, property right, and voting right), the integrated autonomy of themselves, abortion right and the right of bearing children (including the right of contraception and enjoying quality postpartum care), protecting women and girls from domestic violence, sexual harassment, and raping, female’s rights in relation to employment, including maternity leave and fair salary treatment and against any forms of discriminations including misogyny.

Admittedly, their efforts have made the world reevaluate the position and right of women and gained more guarantees for their better lives. Their accomplishments are worth our respect and applause. However, in the meantime, we cannot neglect the emerging extremism in feminism.

Responding to it, a comment says: “The overexpansion of feminism in modern society has turned the original feminism into completely preposterous extremism”. Thus, feminism is now functioning in a counterproductive way to some extent. Feminism has been considered as extreme avant-garde, and even the term “feminism” has gained some derogatory sense.

女权主义的说法，最早源自于西方国家，是指一个主要以女性社会经验为来源与动机的社会理论与政治运动。在西方国家，女权主义最初是指追求男女平等，首要目标便是争取选举权。

时至今日，女权主义已经在西方社会引起了很多变化，其中不仅包括文化而且还涉及到部分法律的制定。女权主义运动者为了妇女的法律权利（契约权，财产权，投票权）以及妇女自身的完整自治权、堕胎权和生育权（包括使用避孕和获得高质量产后护理的权利），为保护妇女和女孩远离家庭暴力、性骚扰、而斗争。同时为了保护妇女工作中的权利，包括产假和等薪待遇，以及反对厌女症及任何其他形式对妇女的歧视而在不断地进行着“斗争”。

诚然，她们的努力让全世界重新审视着女性应有的地位与权力，为女性能够更好地生活争取着更多的保障，她们的成就值得全世界为之鼓掌，但是，与此同时，我们也无法就此忽略目前世界各地日渐浮现的女权主义者的极端化行为。

对此，有评论直接表示“现代社会中女权主义的过度膨胀已经使原本的女权主义变成完全不可理喻的极端主义。”如此一来，女权主义运动在某种程度上起到了适得其反的效果，女权主义被看成是过激的先锋派，甚至“女权主义”这个词也逐渐从褒义词沦为了贬义。
