教学目标:

1.使学生能够听懂、会说、会读、和会拼写单词when, as, present, wait, VCD

2.能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语What date is it today? It’s…What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like …

3.使学生能够运用本节课的重要句型进行对话,培养学生综合语言运用的能力。

教学重点、难点:

1.能够正确掌握本课交际用语并能够比较流畅地

对话。

2.对学生进行潜移默化的语言熏陶和英语文化教育。

教学过程:

Step 1. Sing a song

《Happy birthday to you》

【设计理念】

运用学生们熟知的旋律,活跃了气氛,而且为新授内容做了铺垫,起到了承上启下的作用。引导学生将分散的注意力集中起来,使学生迅速地进入角色,主动参与课堂教学。

Step 2. Free talk

Good morning.

How are you?

What day is it today?

What lessons do you have in the morning?

What date is it today?

【设计理念】

我不仅仅采用师生问答,还采用了生生问答、小组问答等多种形式,不但训练学生听说能力,复习了上节课的内容,活跃了气氛,激发他们的学习兴趣,调动他们的积极性。

Step 3. New lesson

词汇、句型

(1)What date is it today? 训练学生正确朗读并了解单词date(日期)并在此回答:It’s the …of September.

教师表示出惊叹The …of September? Oh, my birthday is coming.引出单词birthday.

(2)When’s my birthday? Guess?由于学生对于这一句型还不是非常了解,所以在这儿我给出两个选择,减低学生表达的难度。

A.It’s on the seventeenth of September.

B. It’s on the eighteenth of September.

(板书句型When ’s my /your birthday? It’s on the …)

(3)Yes, my birthday is on the eighteenth of September. I’ll have a birthday party. Would you like to come to my birthday party?引导学生回答:Sure./OK/All right.

(4)Hello… What would you like as a birthday present? (板书句型What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like …)通过上面的学习,学生能比较熟练地回答。

【设计理念】

采用任务导入,用一系列连珠炮似的小问题,环环紧扣,步步紧逼,深化教学,让学生在边听、边思、边说中不断获求新知。在轻松平等、互动交流中,既使学生全神贯注地进行了听说训练,又达到了拓展延伸课堂教学内容、升华主题的目的,同时还对学生进行了潜移默化的语言熏陶和思想教育。

1.学生自编小歌谣进行新句型的操练。(学生用《两只老虎》的旋律操练句型)
