Abstract. This paper analyzes the background of the application of ecological new clothing material, probes into the use of several major ecological new materials in modern clothing and the developing trend of ecological new clothing materials and points out that as the carrier of clothing, clothing materials plays an important role in garment appearance, morphology, properties, processing, maintenance and cost. In twenty-first century, the clothing, due to the constant introduction of the use of new fibers and the application of the high-tech processing technology, in turn prompts the garment industry toward the direction of more comfort, convenience, health, safety and ecology.

Key words: Ecological new materials; modern clothing; development trend; application

1. Introduction

With the development of the society, the clothing industry has entered an era of material success. The competition of the garment industry in the future will be mainly a competition of technical textile and new materials. Highly developed modern society makes the people lay increasing emphasis on health. The promotion and application of "green" environmentally-friendly clothing is already imperative.

With the progress of the times, the requirement for the clothing is not only comfortable, but more popular. Color can be popular, style can be popular… In many popular factors, environmental protection has also occupied a certain proportion. In other words, fabric function changes in addition to comfort, the environmental protection requirements of the market for the fabric are also getting higher and higher.

Since the industrial revolution, with the rapid expansion of population and the rapid progress of technology, chemical industry, chemical fiber, dyeing and finishing technology obtained the rapid development. The development of the raw materials and the mass production not only provide cheap chemical fiber and textile for the humanity, but also inevitably cause serious environmental pollution, which not only affect human health, but also will cause destruction of the ecological environment on the earth. In order to pursue interests and greater production of raw materials, in the cultivation of fiber raw material production plants, the humane use a variety of plant protection agents, growth regulator, defoliant, herbicide, insecticide, pest and disease prevention agent and other chemical products. Long-term wearing and contact with these harmful substances in textile products on the human body is harmful to some extent. With the support of the idea of sustainable development among the people and human environmental protection consciousness strengthens gradually, consumers are increasingly considering the products for environmental and health concerns. "Green products", "green consumption", "green marketing" the green storm concept has swept the world, which has become the mainstream trend of people choosing textile goods. Ecological clothing materials or environmental protection clothing materials, or green clothing materials emerged in this background, whose meaning is that the production and waste of the clothing materials have no pollution to the environment, the use should be beneficial or harmless to the human body, and should be friendly to the environment, and good for the mankind.

2. Several major ecological new materials and their use in the modern clothing

2-1. Use of green natural fiber in the clothing

2-1-1. Green ecological cotton fiber

Green ecological cotton fiber is the use of advanced space technology, transfer the gene fiber in the space, and provide a new raw material for the textile and garment industry. This kind of new environmental protection fiber product is popular with the consumers. As the agricultural life Technology Company of the United States of America announces, they have successfully bred "wrinkle-free cotton" with exogenous genes. This gene can produce polymer bacteria from "PHB". The gene with these bacterial cells is introduced into the cotton, and new cotton grown still retains the original characteristics like the water-absorption and soft and others, but its heat preservation, strength, and crease resistance are higher than the ordinary cotton fiber. The shirt made of this fiber can avoid scalding, thereby eliminating the effect of anti-wrinkle agent containing large amounts of formaldehyde on human health.

2-1-2. Natural color cotton fiber

Ordinary cotton fabrics must undergo chemical bleaching and dyeing technology to become riotous with colors. And textiles made use of natural color cotton fiber need no chemical dyeing and finishing process to have fun colors, and are the real meaning of the green environmental protection product. The machining methods often used are: blended with the white cotton fiber, blended with synthetic fiber, blended with other functional fiber and synthetic fiber filament as the core fiber wrap spinning. The shortcomings of colored cotton are monotone color bleak, of single varieties, and the textiles made of the fabric give us an old dim feeling.

2-1-3. Bamboo fiber

Bamboo fiber can be the bamboo fiber obtained directly from the bamboo, and can also be the regenerated cellulose fiber based on bamboo as raw material, using the invention patent technology, the high-tech special craft processing, the bamboo cellulose extracted, then by making glue, such as spinning process. It has the moisture absorption, permeability, drape, crease resistant and easy dyeing and other advantages. Therefore the new fabrics are widely used for underwear, shirts, sportswear and baby garments, and the fabrics are ideal for making summer bed sheets, bedding, towels, fashion and etc. Bamboo fiber fabric is also widely used in bedding, which opens up a new way for the bedding industry towards the function type. At the same time, the common wild bamboo skin after the process, by the artificial carefully woven, can also be made into health care fashion, with the abilities of the excellent performance.

2-1-4. Other common green natural fibers

White pines fiber. It is launched by the Japanese, and is a kind of natural fibers made from white pine (growing in the Nordic cold conifer). The rate of moisture regains of this kind of fiber is high, washing resistance is good, and the fabric is soft with deodorization characteristics and strong water absorption etc.

Biological elastic fabric. It is a kind of biological elastic worsted fabric launched by Italy. The fabric does not contain any chemical agents or other chemical products, and is completely pure natural raw material. It is not only beneficial to human health, but also conducive to environmental protection, which has won the approval of the European environmental protection department. Its natural color is very bright, and is favored in the international market. It is the comprehensive embodiment of comfortable, natural, leisure, environmental good material.

Color silk and other natural fibers. Use the mutation of the natural gene of Bombyx Mori and individual directional selection to cultivate golden yellow cocoon, and the color of the clothing will not fade away. Others such as the pineapple leaf fiber, banana fiber and other natural fiber, after treatment, the textiles made with natural fiber or synthetic fiber blend treated fabric have the characteristic of the linen fabric with good appearance and hand feeling, and can be used as a men's suits, women's casual wear, dress, shirt and interior decorative cloths.

3. Application of green regenerated fiber in the clothing 3-1. New cellulose fiber

Tencel or Lyocell, the production and development of plastic fiber has nearly a hundred years of history. Because it is the main raw material of cotton linter and timber and other renewable resources, and the product has a suitable strength and elongation, good moisture absorption and permeability, and it is not easy to electrostatic etc., it is an important raw material for textile and garment industry. In the nineteen seventies, Holland began to study solvent spinning fiber manufacturing and achieved success. After years of research, the British finally realized the industrialized production of novel cellulose fibers in 1989, and the product is registered as a Tencel, and at the same time gave the Tencel a formal scientific name Lyocell. Application of Lyocell fibers is more extensive. It can be processed into a woven fabric, knitted fabric and non-woven fabric, not only pure fabric, but also intertwined with cotton and flax, silk, which is considered to be the representative of the apparel fabrics of the twenty-first century, and can be used to produce high-grade knitted products. It can be used mainly for the production of jeans, shirts, jackets, suits, dresses, plus fours, curtain, sheet, pajamas and so on.

Modal. Modal fiber is a kind of popular cellulose fiber. Modal fiber production uses natural wood pulp as the raw material, and is a variation of the viscose fiber with high wet modulus. Because the spinning method is different, there is a great difference of supra-molecular structure and viscose fiber and modal fiber. Its dry and wet strength and shrinkage is better than the ordinary viscose fiber. As with the Lyocell fiber, all fabric colors made of modal fiber are bright, soft, smooth, and with silk feel. Modal fibers are biodegradable, with environmental protection function in this regard. When it is used in sportswear, the impact on the body is small, which can ensure the health of athletes. In addition, its absorbent is better than cotton, which is suitable for intense exercise, so that players can maintain a good competitive state. 3-2. Soybean fibers

Soybean fiber is short for the soybean protein fiber, whose commodity is called "day cashmere". It is the fiber products independently developed by China Textile Science and technology workers, and is also our country's only full intellectual property of fiber invention. Soybean fiber is called "green fiber" in the new century. The soybean fiber has the excellent properties of natural silk as well as the mechanical properties of the synthetic fiber, which not only meet the people's pursuit of comfort for wearing and beauty, but also adapt to the garment DP, wash and wear trend. It is praised as "Cashmere", "new century health comfortable type fiber" etc. Its application in the clothing design has the appearance of luxury, comfort, good dyeing, good mechanical properties, with health care function, and has the characteristics of warm. The structure of soybean protein fiber is similar to the protein of human skin composition, so it feels soft and comfortable in contact with the skin, without rejection. After long wearing, the clothes are still very tight, which can highlight the human body curve, and will not relaxation aliasing or wrinkle. In addition, the tryptophan and tyrosine in the fiber can absorb ultraviolet light, to prevent skin from suffering from excessive ultraviolet invasion. 3-3. Chitin fiber

In the daily life, people often put the crab, prawns and the seafood shell as waste discarded, which will cause smell cupola and environmental pollution. Domestic and foreign scientists extracted the precious natural biopolymer from shrimp, crab, the pupa and fungi, algae cells. According to the different molecular structure, it is also called chitin and chitin (Chitosan), making chitin fibers. At present, it is mainly used in medical and health field. As a textile material, the cost is too high. If the chitin fiber is blended with other fibers, costs will be reduced, and the application will be expanded. It is suitable for underwear, children's wear, work clothes and bedding. Especially the chitin fiber healths care underwear made of chitin fibers consists of positively charged fiber with the negatively charged bacterial phase adsorption, so that the bacteria cannot survive in the fabrics. So it can effectively inhibit bacterial breeding, and reduce the stimulation of bacterial metabolites on human body and cause skin discomfort.

3-4. Zein fiber

Corn fiber is also known as polylactic acid fiber or PLA fiber, with the brand name lactron. It is formed by using corn starch fermentation lactic acid as raw material, made by dehydration reaction and polylactic acid solution spinning of biodegradable fiber. Because the corn fiber does not use oil and other raw materials, and can be biological decomposition, it won't cause the environment pollution. After being used it can be reused as soil amendments. As a new textile material, corn fiber is known as "environmental recycling materials in twenty-first Century". Japan has blended the corn fiber and cotton, wool, or the long fiber with the cotton, wool and viscose fiber, biodegradable fiber, fabric made into clothing, and produced silky appearance T-shirt, jacket, stockings, underwear, clothing, uniforms, the shirt and dress. 3-5. Milk fiber

Milk fiber is the using the milk through the compression pumping water and decomposition of fat, and the remaining milk protein is dipped into the special liquid, through the jet hole slender, entering the setting lotion, after drying forming the milk fiber. In the market it is called "Silk milk" or "milk cashmere" etc. Underwear made of it is not only full of milk cool feeling, but also has the characteristics of lithe, strong permeability and it is comfortable to wear. The drapability and permeability of milk fabric made of milk fiber are good. The water absorption rate is twice that of the cotton, with the comfort of natural fiber and the fastness of synthetic fiber fabric. It is soft and smooth, breathable and comfortable, draping. It has a natural lasting antibacterial function, effective for bacillus, coccus and mold.

4. Development trend of ecological new materials of clothing

The ecological environment is one of the main problems facing the humanity in the twenty-first century. With the strengthening of social and personal awareness of environmental protection, people pay more attention to ecological environmental protection, development and the use of fabric. At present there are mainly two ways: one is the new fabric development of pure natural materials, and the other is a new process with low pollution. New product development is mainly the following: Ma Xi shirt fabric, color wool and color rabbit hair, mulberry fiber, Lyocell fiber, bamboo leather fashion and so on.

As one of the three key elements of clothing fabric, not only can the style and characteristics of clothing be interpreted, but also directly influences the effect of clothing colors and modeling performance. Most high-quality and high-grade fabrics have the characteristics of comfortable wearing, sweat-absorbent and breathable, trailer tinggua, noble visual, tactile soft, etc. Garment entrepreneurs and designers are increasingly aware that the fierce competition in the apparel market has entered the era of using the materials to win. The garment fabric, lining, the inside materials and other accessories, fittings have become the key factors influencing the fashion art, technicality, practicality, economy and epidemic. Ecological new materials have a high use value in a particular environment, and under these circumstances they can occupy a market advantage. Therefore, in the future clothing market, ecological material clothing will also occupy an important a space.

5. Conclusion

New environmentally-friendly clothing materials will become the mainstream of popular clothing materials, which is not only the results of people pursuing the fashion, but mainly because people's awareness of environmental protection is continuously improving. Only by realizing the harmonious development of human and environment can our life be more beautiful. As can be said, in the future clothing development trend, the green environmental protection clothing materials will play an increasingly important role, and will have a good development space.
