M2M（窈窕美眉）是一个来自挪威的青少年流行组合（a Norwegian teen pop duo），由两个小女孩Marit Larsen和Marion Raven组成。二人自五岁时相识，由于对音乐的共同爱好，她们成了好友。她们的第一张唱片是八岁时以挪威语灌录的儿童专辑。在两人开始创作自己的歌曲之后，她们于1998年与著名的大西洋唱片公司签约。（After starting to make their own songs, they were signed in 1998 to Atlantic Records.）“M2M”这个名字是在一次歌迷给乐队起名的竞赛上甄选出来的，在此之前，她们的乐队名一直是Marion & Marit。（Their name “M2M” was chosen from a contest they held for fans to give a name for their band, as they had previously always been known as Marion & Marit.）
M2M的首张大碟《紫色恋情》（Shades of Purple, 2000）爆红美国，在全球造成轰动，在东南亚尤其畅销，也获得了美国《滚石》杂志的好评。该专辑中的单曲《魔镜魔镜》（“Mirror Mirror”）还曾荣登销售榜Top 10。
《魔镜魔镜》让人不禁联想到童话《白雪公主》（Snow White）中无所不知的万能魔镜：“魔镜魔镜，请告诉我，谁是世界上最美的女人？”在M2M的这首歌中，魔镜摇身变成了少女吐露心声的倾诉对象，细细体味，歌词的字里行间带给人的更是一种邻家女孩的清新味道：向魔镜诉说着矛盾挣扎的困扰心情，莫道“少年不识愁滋味”……
