The cardboard furniture design under low carbon economy

Abstract. This paper presents the furniture design in the face of resource， energy consumption and environment accelerate the lasting damage to low carbon economy circumstances， human face the challenges of survival， should consider how to meet the low carbon era of mankind to the demand for the use of green furniture. Through the low carbon economy society demand， I think the current board furniture is under low carbon economy best green furniture， in the current，the cardboard furniture design of the low carbon times in addition to meet the use function， we should pay more attention to environmental protection and resource utilization， reduce the damage to the environment， with cardboard furniture design scientifically， reduce waste.

The development of low carbon economy， one side is a positive commitment to protect environment responsibility； the other is to adjust the economic structure， improve energy efficiency， and construct of ecological civilization. Then， the " green revolution" by the relevant countries and people put forward the UN initiative and guide to protect the earth's environment， protection of natural resources of the in the production， circulation and consumption areas emerge as the times require， and gradually sweeping the world.

1.2 The characteristics of the Low carbon economy

The characteristics of the Low carbon economy is reduce to greenhouse gas emissions， and building a economy development system based on low energy consumption， low pollution， including low carbon energy system， low carbon technology and low carbon industry system. Low carbon energy system is through the development of clean energy， including wind， solar， nuclear， geothermal and biomass energy alternatives such as coal， oil and other fossil energy sources to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Low carbon technology including clean coal technology （ IGCC ） and carbon capture， storage technology （ CCS ） and so on. Low carbon industry system including power reduction， new energy vehicles， energy saving building， industrial energy saving and emission reduction， recycling economy， recycling， environmental protection equipment， energy-saving materials and so on.

Low carbon， conduce to implement the strategy of sustainable development to our country， and contribute to China's construction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. The furniture design under the low carbon economy ， pay more attention from consummate function turn to" people-oriented"，" nature-based"， and it applicate of new technology in the direction of human development.

The so-called" people-oriented" actually mean the furniture design should meet human needs and to respect the individual's aesthetic； humanized design is mainly more emphasis on human physiological use of the comfort in the furniture design process，and" nature-oriented" mean what we often said that the" green furniture"，" return to nature " ，and "new naturalism" and has a natural， environmental protection， low carbon content fashion furniture design idea of publicity.

The pursuit of low carbon design is the most important and popular design concept， also is the current mainstream design of the furniture design. Low carbon design means green design. Green broad sense refers to the nature of a natural growth condition， is resilient in a sustainable development cycle of ecosystem； the narrow sense refers to the product design in its life cycle， should give full consideration to the negative effect about the resources and the environmental， reduce material and energy consumption， reduce emissions of harmful substances， and the products using terminal capable of recycling or reuse， it’s a design concep which is respect for people and the environment. The purposes of Low carbon furniture design advocate "people-oriented " while emphasize to protect nature and" nature-oriented"， make the harmony and common development between man and nature， it also shows social responsibility of people regression reflection. So， low carbon furniture design played an important role in promoting fashion furniture development.
