A New Information Security Model in Smart Grid

Abstract: Development and powerful smart grid unified national power Grid Corporation; information security protection system is facing new challenges. Along with the development of informationization, automation, interactive features, intelligent power grid and improve the two-way interaction between user, and put forward the new request information safety protection system from six aspects, transmission, distribution, and consumption, substation and scheduling. Based on the analysis of the requirements of the intelligent power grid all aspects of information security, combined with national level of protection policies and regulations and risk evaluation methods, the author puts forward the model of intelligent information grid security and the strategy, and the support of the intelligent design network information safety system, finally set up information safety protection system, including smart grid of the close coupling six areas of smart grid generation, transmission, distribution, substation, power, scheduling, and achieving a fully support the strong ai power grid construction and information security control, controllability and under control.

1. Introduction

On the analysis of electric power development of the new ideas in the world and according to China's national condition, the national power grid [1] put forward the development goal crowned based on independent innovation, speed up the construction of ultra high voltage power grid as the backbone network frame, and coordinated development of power and information technology, at all levels automation technology, the unity of the interactive features strong intelligent power grid, focus on a strong, reliable, cost-effective, clean, environmental protection, transparent, open and friendly, interactive content intelligent power grid strategy, stick to the overall target of Chinese characteristics, structure and stage of development goals powerful smart grid. At present, in accordance with the current "dual-network dual-plane, area Fenwick, grades protection, multilayer defense" safe strategy, information network segregation within and outside, the national power grid company for the comprehensive level of protection and the construction of the core content of information security defense system initially formed a "defense levels of protection system depth", good enough to meet the production requirement of process protection national standards.

2. International Information Security Protection

At present the European and American countries promote intelligent power grid planning, the main development idea is, the creation of new power grid the use of information technology, in order to establish a high performance, which is home, safety, reliability, and flexibility of the power system. In a foreign country, they pay attention to the development of information security protection intelligent power grid, especially the United States practice a smart grid is very dependent on the network effect, so it pay attention to information security very seriously. 3. Requirements Analysis of Strong Smart Grid Information Security Protection In China

From security risks of all sectors of business system on the smart grid, major security risks and requirements which smart grid faces are shown in Figure 1:

The framework not only combines active defense model of intelligent power network and information security protection strategy, and combined with domestic and international and large enterprise in the field of information security and the development trend of best practices, considering the information security measures, through the security system structure, data security, application security and security operations and maintenance, security management and operation safety system and an international vision. Information security protection framework of smart grid is shown in Fig.3:

6. Conclusion

State grid companies information security capability maturity will further improve intelligent power grid through the research information security framework. This paper reviewed the safety protection ability, the national power grid company has established. Safety requirements, substation, power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption, and analyzes in intelligent grid dispatching depth.
