The Building of College Student Management System based on three-layer B / S Str

Abstract. The development of the computer and software and hardware, environment, network gain popularity in university, gradually, the traditional students' information management system cannot meet the needs of the present. This paper discusses the design of the information management system of students, and combined with the modern information technology, presents the design concept, system construction and project implementation, establishing network platform involves management and service, and to promote a systematic, standardized, and information system of university students' work, and improve the management and service level of the management of university students.

Introduction

With the implementation of credit system, the division of the university campus, in the campus, and the much discipline, cross-grade elective courses, the school, the teacher, class, department of teachers and students is relatively scattered across the region, scope, teaching and life are office widely[1]. at the same time, continue to expand the recruit students have more and more of the student management pattern, the traditional students have obvious failure, mainly including information poor information delivery within the management team, students and students management team, the student management system, management system and students in the relationship between different departments. Therefore, only further strengthen information construction work of college students and establish effective student management information system can help to solve the above problems.

The current management information system construction of university students have far behind the rest of the industry, failed to achieve higher request to improve teachers' work efficiency, regulate and improve the service level work process for students. To speed up the students' information, establish an effective student management information system, we can maximize the use of teaching resources, regulating the process of each project management team, realize students' comprehensive supervision and students' education and training, make scientific analysis, helps the student management work effective measures in order to improve the management and service level and efficiency, and comprehensively promote the coordinated development of college information system.

SYSTEM DESIGN CONCEPT

Students work involves a large amount of data, including collection, storage, use and analysis of various student information resources. Therefore, an effective information management of the student management work is based on the information office, formation mechanism model of information collection, interaction, sharing, use of the data transfer and sharing of the complex work integrated into the network operation, realize intensive information, fully improve operation efficiency and quality of all kinds of student work information collection, treatment and report output and promote the stable and rapid development of the students' work.

The design of the system is as a platform for teacher to begin the work, for the communication between teachers and students and communicate information. First of all, we should know to each process, in addition to the student’s work of student work into several function modules, establish the relevant data of each function module, positioning data flow. Next, let the students and teachers to test the system through practical operation, thus optimize and improve the system, form a ideological and political education model and combining the reality of the system.

SYSTEM DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION

Design Concept

The design and implementation of the system is based on WAN and LAN with a database as the core, college teachers and students can manage and search relevant information that they want.

Based on the current computer technology and software development technology, the system combines three-layer B/S (Browser/ Server) and C/S (Client/Server) as its construction and module design, to improve system security and maintainability. As in Figure 1, following the J2EE rule, package the application code which can perform specific function as the application object and distribute it into application server, prepared for WEB server.
