Abstract. One of the key aspects of the teaching reform of the higher vocational colleges is to give prominence to the ability training of the students. In this paper, from the teaching practice of the network marketing course, with the applicative competition platform as the breakthrough point, the author carries through a series of teaching reforms, to realize the goal of training, and especially to give prominence to the ability training of the students.

According to the "employment oriented, service purposed" occupational, educational goal, our students should not only have good occupational ethics and occupational qualities, and have skilled occupational skills, but also should have solid and systematic professional application knowledge, and have the ability of sustainable development after work. So, paying attention to the training of the abilities is an important path to develop the occupational education. The teachers in the higher vocational colleges should train the students' abilities by doing things, and train the students’ employment abilities in the process of completing the tasks. In the "network marketing" course teaching, through the practice teaching platform, the author gives prominence to the cultivation of abilities, and explores a series of practical measures, to subversively change the teaching reform.

1. The practicability and the importance of the practice teaching platform

Knowledge can be taught, but the ability can not. The ability directly affects the efficiency of activities, and is closely linked to the activities. Without the specific activities, abilities can't form and perform. Abilities are trained. It is important to train the practical abilities of the students, and to choose the appropriate teaching platform. It concerns the quality, cost, convenience, effectiveness and sustainability of the practice teaching. In general, the most commonly used practice teaching platforms are mainly the following four types:

1-1. First, Use the simulation teaching software

The simulation teaching software purchased at a certain cost in a certain extent provides training conditions and bases for the students, so that the students can understand the workflow and the basic methods of work. But the simulation of the software cannot show the real working environment, and the interaction and the recognition ability of the system are too poor, without the challenging and authenticity, which do not meet the teaching requirements in the training of the students' practical abilities.

1-2. Use the off-campus practice bases

As the practical teaching of the single course, it requires that the off-campus training bases should absorb the entire class to carry out the practical training at any time according to the teaching arrangements, and should have some professional staffs with certain teaching experience to timely guide to the students.

The actual situation is often that the off-campus practice bases are far from the schools, and the students in one semester will have the round-trip several times every week, and each time it will cost them two hours. For the schools and the students, the transportation costs and time as well as the efforts cost too much. In terms of the practicing enterprises, they cannot guarantee to recruit dozens of students to carry out the practical training in the fiddly time. The off-campus practice bases are suitable for the centralized training and internship, but not suitable to provide the teacher training for our separate course.

1-3. Use the campus training bases (training rooms)

The campus practical training bases are near, eliminating the round-trip time and cost, and also they can be used at any time, which is very convenient. However, the campus training base for the network marketing must be the actual enterprises with the nature of the business. Otherwise, they cannot offer the real business environment and the network marketing tasks, so the training of the students is of no practical significance. In view of the limitation of the capital and the management, to ensure these conditions, it is difficult to achieve.

1-4. The practice teaching platform with the competing properties

From the beginning of 2010, I began to contact and use the network marketing ability show teaching platform of college students in the process of the network marketing course teaching.

1-4-1. Practicability

The platform has no limit on the number of entries, and the physical distance is zero. As long as there is a computer with access to the Internet, we can receive training, and complete and submit the tasks on the Internet. The participation in the competitions does not need to pay any fees.

This teaching platform is a Network Show of the marketing ability of college students (), and is the competitive network marketing practice teaching platform sponsored by the China Internet Association, and operated and managed by the management consultants of the new competitiveness network marketing. The platform from 2009 to 2013 held 10 network marketing competitions, and 60 thousand college students of five thousand universities participated, with more than ten thousand enterprises, under the guidance of the Chinese Internet Association. All the practical functions are completed through the network platform, guided by the teachers and the professionals of the organizing committee. Through the original practice model and the evaluation index (AR value), all the national college students compete on the same stage. While promoting the enterprises through the network, we can improve the network marketing practice abilities of the students, to be network marketing talents who can create value for the enterprises.

1-4-3. Importance

As the platform for the teaching practice of the network marketing, the contents of the practice provided are more systematic, more real, more professional, and more interesting, and the evaluation index is more comparable. As the platform for the communication between all schools, and between the teaching and the enterprises, we should understand the network marketing needs of the enterprises, and promote the deepening of the teaching practice. The national university students compete on the same stage, with both competition and sharing, and they can promote mutual understanding and friendship, exercise their wills and enhance their abilities, and can and improve the students' professional employment rate, to become the most urgently needed network marketing professionals.

1-4-4. Synchronism

What are the satisfactory is that the competition period is consistent with the teaching process, and the tasks issued are all the actual contents of the network marketing of thousands of the companies, which are the real needs of the network marketing posts, and completely conform to the curriculum requirements.

Because the competitions reflect the needs of the actual posts, with strong sustainability, development, effectiveness and incentives, and highlight the requirements of our skills, knowledge and qualities, the competition platform of the network marketing ability show has become the platform for the practice teaching of this course.

2. Subversive teaching reform

The practice teaching platform of the network marketing ability show makes the course teaching free from any "rear" menace. In terms of the core problem how to highlight the practical skill training of the occupational college students, we have taken a series of reform measures. Because the tasks that the competition issue are all the real network marketing contents of the real businesses, reflecting the needs of the abilities of, the real network marketing positions, in order to deepen the teaching reform, and to match with the contests, we must carry on the curriculum design, re-adjust the teaching contents and teaching arrangements, and change the old teaching methods.

2-1. Absorb the advanced concepts of the occupational education

The concepts will decide the behaviors. The modern occupational education needs the teachers with new teaching ideas and methods as the support. In the past, teachers concentrate on how to impart knowledge in giving and preparing the lessons, and how to accumulate knowledge. All the classroom activities are focused on understanding the knowledge, mastering the knowledge, and consolidating the knowledge. Even the questions and answers in the class are to further understand and consolidate the knowledge. The occupational college students are not to broadly accept the knowledge and accumulate the knowledge, but to learn the practical employment abilities. We need to prepare them to be qualified for the future occupations, and carry out the ability training with the appropriate tasks. This requires that the teachers should be familiar with the occupational pursuits of the students, and lead the students to finish the tasks in the classrooms, but not just teach a book. An excellent occupational education course must have clear missions. By completing the tasks, exercise their abilities to work and the abilities to solve problems, from which they can obtain the abilities of the sustainable development. The curriculum can have multiple goals, and we highlight the goal of the ability: the curriculum should use the project tasks to train the abilities of the students, and the curriculum should take the student as the main body.

2-2. Determine the applicable teaching mode

According to the actual need of the goal of training the professionals and the post group of the network marketing, combined with the teaching reform, determine the "project led, task driven" teaching model. By participating in the network marketing competitions, take the overall activities of the competitions as a large network marketing project. The network marketing teaching practice platform should conform to the network marketing teaching, with one period in each semester and 3 months for each period (e.g., The ability show in the fall of 2013 begins on September 15th, and ends on December 15th, coincidentally consistent with the teaching process). The real network marketing activities will train the students' abilities of the Internet application, and increase the interest and the sense of achievement in the network marketing learning. The technical website supporting the contests provides the achievement evaluation system, and uses the dynamic AR value to evaluate the results.

The network marketing competitions are constantly upgraded, with the strong laws and stability of the activities of the organization, and has become the most influential network marketing platform. This course determines the "project led, task driven" teaching mode, and we can rely on the platform of the competition, so that the students can master the practical skills of the network marketing in the process of completing the tasks of the contest.

2-3. Adjust the teaching contents and the teaching arrangements

The occupational education must take the occupational activities as the orientation, the ability as the goal, the students as the main body, the quality as the basis, and the project as the carrier, to set up the knowledge, theory and practice integrated curriculum.

The teaching design should be conducted in accordance with the ideas of "clarify the teaching objectives -- Analyze the learning situations -- equip the teaching resources -- design the curriculum". The selection of the teaching contents of the course should follow the principle of "deconstruction of the post abilities, and reconstruction of the learning tasks". First, determine the network business, jobs, and then determine the occupational ability structures, and finally reconstruct the course contents. The practical classes account for 77% of the total class hours.

2-4. Rewrite the suitable teaching materials

Due to the adoption of the "project led, task driven" teaching mode, the teaching contents are reconstructed, and the originally selected materials cannot meet the needs of the present teaching. In the premise of being familiar with the contest tasks, in accordance with the needs of the actual job skills, re-organize the network marketing skills and knowledge systems, and compile the higher vocational teaching material of "Tutorial for network marketing project", to be used in the process of teaching.

2-5. Optimize and enrich the teaching methods

The fundamental curriculum change is naturally related to the change of the teaching methods. For example, the originally used classroom teaching method and the case analysis method now are not the mainstream. What is frequently used is the teaching method of competition replacing training, action-guided teaching method, task-driven method, comment and excitation method, open learning method, group discussion method, and summary analysis method etc.

2-5-1. Action-guided teaching method

From the beginning of the intuitive examples, in accordance with the laws of the cognition of the beginners, guide the interest of the students, and improve the students' abilities. Break with the past habit of "doing after learning", take effective method of "learning by doing" or "learning after doing", which conforms to the intelligent characteristics of the students.

2-5-2. Task-driven method

A number of the tasks that the contest issued are limited by the time, and if you cannot keep up with the pace, you will not have the achievement of this project. Therefore, in the daily learning process, urge and remind the students not to slack. When the enthusiasm of the students reduces, and when they have the lax thought, the task driven approach will enable the students to adhere to it, thus exercising their wills and qualities.

2-5-3. Comment and incentive teaching approach

The students have a strong sense of honor, and very much like the praise from the teacher in the classrooms. According to this characteristic, the routine and motivating comment will be the stimulant of the students to actively learn. This method requires that the teachers should carefully observe the learning performance of the students, pay attention to their change of the contest results, and stimulate the motivation of the student to learn with the achievements of the student or some encouraging words, in training the sense of competition of the students.

2-5-4. Open learning method

Combined with the characteristics that this course must be carried out through the network to train the abilities, in the process of teaching, encourage and foster the students’ propaganda awareness. Students are required to learn to get out of their own small circle of the classes and schools, and learn to communicate and interact with the teachers and the students of other participating colleges and the professional guides of the organizing society. By other's faults, wise men can correct their own. We should forward to a more open internet world, and establish the network connections of the students, to accumulate intangible wealth for the follow-up tasks in their work. The students should learn more and better knowledge and skills, and grasp more applicable learning methods, to make up for the shortages of certain aspects of their college teachers, to lay the foundation for students' sustainable development abilities.

2-5-5. The teaching evaluation and the assessment

The teaching evaluation should adopt the three-dimensional evaluation systems. And the evaluation should emphasize the process and the practice.

3. Lay stress on the characteristic of the teaching reform and achievements of the cultivation of the abilities

Our students will not only be able to be competent for the work on the front lines, but also can quickly stand out, showing their working and learning potential. Our students should be able to solve the practical problems in the occupational pursuits, and have the abilities of self-learning and sustainable development, and quite a few of the students also should have the abilities of innovation and entrepreneurship.

3-1. Characteristics of the teaching reform

In the process of the curriculum reform, the applied research results highlighting the cultivation of the abilities are very rich, with strong originality and operability. Among them, the most representative is the teaching method of competition replacing trains.

3-1-1. The teaching method of competition replacing training is to enable the students to finish tasks following the process of the competition mainly by participating in the network marketing competition, forming a continuous and challenging learning process, from which we can withdraw the constructivist teaching theory of "doing in teaching, and learning by doing".

3-1-2. The aims of the method of the competition replacing the training to stimulate the students’ interests in learning, experience the real situations of the network marketing, exercise their wills and qualities, and enhance the occupational training.

3-1-3. In the process of practice, the teachers track, and guide and answer the questions at any time.

3-2. Impressive results

Through the use of the competition replacing the training, train their abilities, and the learning effect is very good. It enables the students to accumulate the experience of the marketing network, learn openly, use all available resources to complete their tasks, enhance the occupational skill training, and also cultivate many aspects of their occupational accomplishments. In the process of the learning, "insist, diligence and cooperation" has become the valuable wealth of the progress of the teachers and the students together. By participating in the contest, it provides opportunities to showcase for the students, and exercises their abilities of employment and entrepreneurship.
