实现自己的目标

This ESSAY is about the law that govern my life. I am ten years old and in the fifth grade. I had to investigate what the word govern means. According to Webster’s Dictionary, govern means to rule by right of authority. Also the word law means the principles and regulations established by a government. Some of the laws that govern my life are school, church, and family.

School governs my life by offering guidelines to live my life by. School has authority figures and role models that give advice about life. For exmple. My teacher tells me to say no to drugs. The consequences to drug use are talked about during class. I don’t want the bad effects of drugs to rule my life. Another part of school concerns setting goals and trying to reach the goals. My goals include making the best grades that I can and to learn as much as I can.

Church provides the guidelines for my behavior. Some of the things that church teaches me concern my relationship with God. I tithe at church to honor God’s authority. I have also been taught to honor and obey my mother. And one of the most important lessons that I have learned is to love my enemies as I love myself. These guidelines all shape my character into something good.

My family is one of the most important things that shape my life. The love my family gives me helps shape my confidence. My family supports me, loves me, and respects me. One of the ways that my family supports me is to encourage me to do my best in school. The love that my family gives grants me the confidence that I will need to excel in life. As I learn more about respect, I am sure that I can respect others.

I am sure that there are other factors that help me to govern my life. I cannot list them all .My future years may reveal other important laws that will help guide me through life. At this time, I will enjoy school, church, and family as I find a way to reach my goals.

这篇散文写的是支配我生活的一些法则。我今年十岁，上五年级。我必须搞清楚“支配”一词的含义。韦氏字典上解释说，“支配”指的是依靠权威来统治。“法则”一词的意思是由政府制定的法律法规。支配我生活的一些法则是学校、教堂和家庭。

学校支配着我的生活，提供生活中应遵循的指导方针。学校有权威人士和模范人物，他们能对生活提出忠告。比如说，我的老师告诉我要拒绝，吸毒会导致什么后果在课上都讲过，我不想让不不良影响控制我的生活。学校的另外一个作用在于树立奋斗目标，并努力实现这些目标。我的目标包括尽可能考出好成绩，尽量多学知识。

教堂为我的行为举止提供指导方针。教堂教我的东西主要是要明确上帝与我之间的关系，我向教堂缴纳什一税以表示对上帝权威崇敬之情，我也受到教导，要尊敬我妈妈，并听她的话。我学到的最重要的一课是爱仇敌要像爱自己一样。这些指导方针将我的性格塑造得很优秀。

我的家庭也是规范我生活的最重要的因素之一。家人对我的爱使我日渐自信，全家人支持我、爱我、尊重我。他们支持我的方法之一就是鼓励我把功课学好。家人给我的爱使我非常自信，这是我生活出色所必需的。渐渐地，我明白了更多关于尊重方面的道理，我相信我会尊敬其他人。

当然，还有其他因素支配着我的生活。我不便一一列举，未来的岁月也许会展现出其他的重要法则，它们将指导我的人生道路。此时此刻，在寻求实现自我目标的方法的同时，我尽情享受着学校、教堂和家庭给予我的一切。
