【ABSTRACT 】The LED table lamp of design has the unique appearance. Combining energy efficient LED's with the fluid motion and folding styling of the arm，providing low price and convenient to carry. And also is comfortable for visual and reliable. The adjustability and hight design is satisfied with Ergonomic. The LED table lamp of design definitely has the practical applicability.

INTRODUCTION
Background Of Research
Table lamp is absolutely necessary for study and work in the daily life. And an LED （Light Emitting Diode） lamp is a solid—state semiconductor device that uses light—emitting diodes as the source of light[1]； it can directly transform electricity into light. The LED illumination also called solid—state lighting，as the third generation lighting technology after the incandescent lamp and fluorescent lamp，have the properties of energy—saving，environmental protection，safety and reliable.[2]
In fact，LED light started in 2004，used in car headlamps. And in that time，the LED light is expensive compare with other light source. But nowadays，LED is already widely and economically used. Table lamp is one of the important application of LED light.
Actually，the history of LED already had decades，but it still is a new technology in the application of lighting. With the rapid development of LED technology，the lightening efficiency gradually raising，LED application on the market will be more widely，especially in the background of the global energy shortage，LED lighting market is considered as the greatest potential goods in the next 10 years，and the biggest market will replace incandescent lamp，fluorescent lamp of tungsten.
Objectives Of Research
Objectives of the research project are：
1.To create 3D mechanical design using solidworks
2.To conduct analysis of the design
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Ron Lenk （2011），“As we indicated in the section on Haitz's law，LEDs are probably going to reach the maximum theoretical limit for efficacy of any light source. Once the theoretical limit is reached，nothing can be better.”[3]LED light have huge potential for efficacy，that is providing LED light a powerful competitive advantage in the market of lighting source.
