Fifty years in the future, the sun is dying, and the earth and its inhabitants[居住者] are dying with it. Seven years have passed since several crewmembers onboard[在交通工具上] the “lcarus”disappeared without a trace while on a mission to save the planet. Eight scientists on board the “lcarus II”are the earth’s final hope. They are carrying a massive bomb, the size of Kansas, which will be used to reignite[重新激起] a part of the dying sun. Deep into their journey, far out of reach of radio contact, the group begins to make critical[危急的] mistakes. Their voyage becomes even stranger when they pick up a distress signal[求救信号] from the “lcarus.”They must struggle to keep their sanity[心智健全] if they hope to have a chance to complete their mission.

The Cast

The cast of Sunshine has an international following[崇拜者] that will undoubtedly help the film in many diverse[不同的] markets. Chris Evans is landing more leading man roles following his two highly successful films, Cellular and Fantastic Four (for which a sequel[续集] is now in the works). Cillian Murphy made a breakthrough in America thanks to his major part in 28 Days Later. The actor then scored[获得] two huge roles, one in the summer hit Red Eye, and the second as the “Scarecrow”in the blockbuster[大片] Batman Begins. After a few years?absence[不在] from American cinemas following her brilliant performance in Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon, Michelle Yeoh(Yang Ziqiong) returned in the visually[视觉上地] gorgeous, but ultimately[最后] disappointing, Memoirs of a Geisha. Yeoh is more than just a martial arts action star and her presence in Sunshine will help it to be an appreciated movie.

演员阵容
