Now it not only is the dominical inter communication tool in campus, but also the new carrier of the campus culture in this developing online environment. Campus BBS serving for harmonious culture constructing became the core of online environment. The paper discovers Campus BBS’ status, influence factor and function in harmonious culture constructing.

In addition, college students are warm, may help others, the network is also a natural spirit of helping others. Internet users are willing to trust strangers, because network with a high degree of anonymous can help users out of trouble at any time, they are willing to help a stranger [3]. People in the BBS more tend to listen to the problems of others and setbacks and support to those who have emotional problems. In the infection of friendly atmosphere and psychology influence and help provide can be converted into help others, help others also become help provide, so a virtuous circle of the formation of the environment, mutual assistance and harmony.

The university has a large number of students from all over the world, so it wasn't exactly a cohesive society. Chinese college students prefer to do network transaction and express online, but the American college students tend to do more reading than interaction.

Thirdly, it sharps students' abilities in all aspects and accumulates wealth experience in practice. For students who want to start their own business in future, this is a bridge to connect the theoretical knowledge and practical ties.

To maintain psychological balance, all kinds of emotions and pressure hidden in the deep heart, are required to release some. However, many Chinese college students can’t release their emotions well in reality, because of the generation gap between children and parents, distance between students and teachers, the competition among classmates and so on. Campus BBS under the context of network communication has undoubtedly provided a most convenient way for university students to release their emotional pressure as well as achieve their individual balance.

Restriction of Chinese Campus BBS’s region gathering, One of its main functions is to provide campus- oriented service. Therefore, the students are inclined to seek a certain degree of emotional release through posting on the forums when they don’t satisfy their study life, logistics services [6].

Chinese Colleges students are more willing to share their own experiences and sufferings with other people rather than obtain a resolution to their problems when they post on the forums. Because Chinese campus BBS users enjoy a high degree of similarity, when it comes to living environment, age and life experience, it is relatively easy to motion abreaction and achieve individual harmony. The American college students tend to do more reading than interaction online, they just like to communication face to face or use E-mails.

3.CONCLUSION

First, because of different political system between two countries, the treatment of posting in Campus BBS is different; leading to the different management model of forum. The Chinese university has College BBS' property, while almost all American Campus BBS are privately held entities, so the rules on the forum are different.

Second, because of cultural differences between two countries, Chinese people are more implicit and reserved, so more students enjoy posting topics for making friends rather than face to face. Generous and enthusiasm are popular in the United States, so the students prefer making friends and communication in real life rather than posting online.

Third, because of economic differences between two countries, Chinese college’s network transactions and secondary markets online are more popular. While in American universities, network services are mainly for teaching and studying. Life information like entertainment, making friends, and leasing are not included in campus forum.

Due to the differences between China and The United States in politic, culture, and economy, there are many significant differences in Campus BBS between two countries, but also have some common grounds in campus culture constructing. This thesis of the campus BBS researching concerned much about the contrast ion of campus cultural constructing between China and The United States.

Some field related to the contrast ion is not completely anlysised. Due to the restriction of the study condition, I don’t study thoroughly in the American campus BBS’s situation and features. I feel sorry that this research is qualitative study, not systematic quantitative study. I hope I can implement quantitative study and make a integrated combination of both two in the future.

My future research will pay more attention to the evolution of the campus BBS as the role of internal communication tools in university, and the infiltrated influence and the function of the Campus BBS in campus culture constructing in New-media Time. My further study will be more concerned about the relationship between campus BBS (as a university intranet) and outside social networking, analyze the role which is played in college student’s growing-up as well as the trend of future development.
