佛罗伦萨游记

佛罗伦萨的旧译名是“翡冷翠”，如徐志摩的《翡冷翠一夜》，说的也就是佛罗伦萨。“翡冷翠”，在意大利语中意为“鲜花之城”。虽然看上去略有些匪夷所思，但是这个精致、美丽的名字倒颇让人有些幻想。在美丽的佛罗伦萨，有着怎样美妙的游记？跟随作者，我们一起出发咯！

A few years ago, I went to Italy and visited Rome, Venice and Florence. Rome is a beautiful city with the ancient architecture accompanied by the well-shaped green trees. Venice is also attractive as I became a part of the nature by sitting in the boat, chatting with the boatman and listening to the boatmen’s songs. However, I like Florence most.

Being the city from which the Renaissance（文艺复兴时期） originated, Florence is full of cultural charm. I was deeply attracted by the Statue of David by Michelangelo[米开朗琪罗(1475~1564),意大利文艺复兴时期成就卓著的科学家、艺术家], the greatest Sculptor of Italy. Michelangelo had been studying medicine and anatomy, so he was very skillful in making the statue of human body. As an artist living in the Renaissance period, his works naturally reflected the turning point of human history. The natural and confident expression on David’s face just represented the liberation of human mood and spirit in that age, when the gentle breeze of humanism blew over the sleeping people who began to realize the beauty and the significance of human nature.

As the major leather-processing center in Italy, Florence also produces fine leather shoes. When I visited one of the leather shoes processing plant in this city, I was deeply impressed by the design of the leather shoes. Never look down upon the shoes you wear, and in fact, they are work of authentic art. From the carefulness of the design to the skillful processing, you will be sure your feet will be taken good care of by the shoes. The comfort of wearing is emphasized here. And at the same time, some small decorations were added to the shoes with careful consideration, so the gracefulness lasted long even from very critical eyes.

Then, what left me with warm memory is the nice service in Florence. One day, I went to a shop of leather jackets. I wanted to find a suitable jacket for my husband. The shop assistant was a young man, almost the same age and the size as my husband. He came over and asked what I was going to find. “A leather jacket.” I answered. “Well, for whom?” he asked very kindly. “My husband.” I said. “Do you know his actual size?” he added. “Well, almost like your size.” I told him. “Great!” He smiled and selected a black jacket from the shelf. He put it on and stood in front of me. He asked, “What do you think of this?” “OK.” I nodded. “OK?” He went to the front of the mirror, looking at himself, “Oh, the sleeves may be a little longer. Your husband may prefer shorter sleeves.” I agreed. Then he went back to the shelf and selected another brown jacket with the a little different design. He put it on and asked, “What about this?” “Nicer.” I said. “Nicer?” He smiled again and went to the mirror. “Yeah, you are right. And the sleeves fit, I believe.” Later on, I bought that brown jacket. When I came back to Beijing, I told my husband about this, he nodded and put on the jacket. Oh, it is quite suitable.

Florence is really my favorite city in Italy for its cultural charm, fine product and nice service. The days I spent in Florence were so impressive and warm. I treasure them in my memory. I hope I can visit there again.
