Once there were two sisters named Mary and Liza who adored the handsome prince.从前，有一对叫玛丽和丽萨的姐妹。丽萨十分崇拜英俊的王子。

Mary had golden hair and was always kind to everyone. Liza had red hair and was always very rude to everyone.金头发的玛丽对每个人都很友善。而红头发的丽萨对人很粗鲁。

On their way home from buying bread one day, a handsome boy asked them,"Do you know where the shoe store is?"有一天，玛丽和丽萨买完面包回家，她们在路上碰到了一个帅气的男孩，男孩问道：“请问鞋店在哪里？”

"No, I don't. Find it yourself." Liza said rudely.“我才不告诉你呢！自己去找！”丽萨粗鲁地回答。

One day, Liza noticed a poster on the wall announcing a party at the royal palace.一天，丽萨看到墙上贴了一个告示：皇宫将要举行一个盛大的舞会。

The next day, People dressed their best and gathered in the Palace. A boy dressed up in the most beautiful clothes approached the sisters.第二天，所有人都盛装出席舞会。在舞会上，有一位打扮华丽的男孩向这对姐妹走来。

"A party tomorrow afternoon in the palace? Mary, Let's go！" she shouted with excitement."Okay," Mary replied.“明天下午，皇宫将要举行一个舞会。玛丽，我们一起参加吧。”丽萨兴奋地说。“好啊。”玛丽说。

It was the same boy looking for the shoe store. "Hello,Mary." he said. "Hello!" Mary said.他就是那天问路的那个男孩。“你好，玛丽。”男孩说。“你好。”玛丽回答。

"Where's the prince?" asked Liza. She didn't pay any attention to him and kept looking for the prince.

"Mary, we're friends right?" asked the boy. "Of course we are." "Why?"Mary asked. "I am the prince." “玛丽，我们是好朋友吗？”“我们当然是好朋友。为什么这么问？”玛丽回答。“我是王子。”

"What?" Liza screamed. "I can't believe Mary has become the best friends with the prince. I should have been nicer to him that day!" Liza cried with regret.“什么？”丽萨尖叫起来。“我不敢相信丽萨成为了王子最好的朋友。早知道那天我对他态度好点。丽萨懊悔地哭了起来。
